The Sims 4: How to take Good Photos

Getting Started / Indoor Photos

If you’re trying to show a random moment inside your House or just want to showcase a Room you’ve decorated, it’s important to save camera slots so that the game will remember the exact camera angle every time you’re trying to take a photo.

To do so, press Ctrl + 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 0 after you’ve set your desired angle, just press 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 0 to spawn that angle.

Your photo may be nice, but it’s missing life! Make sure you have your Sims seated somewhere and give them something to do (socializing usually does the trick).

Plumbobs are usually a no for any Sims Photo. You can remove it by typing the headlineeffects off cheat. While you’re at it, you may want to add some props around your Sims to give them more actions to do.

Finally, if you think your Indoor Photo isn’t lit enough, you can boost brightness by adding Invisible Lights. Go to Build Mode, type bb.showhiddenobjects and under Misc Lightings you’ll find Invisible Lights.

Is there a way to undo one of my saved photo angle? I use the 9 key to raise an item to my desired height and now when I try to use it for that, it goes to the picture angle that I saved on 9!
