This Sims 4 Maker Set Has a New Moola Price on The Marketplace

The Soft Lines Living Set has been cut from 400 to 300 Moola in less than 2 days!

We didn’t expect for The Sims 4 Marketplace to get dynamic with its pricing range right off the bat in its launch week, but here we are. We received a tip from Twitter user @Fur_Ross about a Sims 4 Maker Set on The Marketplace from Pierisim getting a price cut. The change happened to the Soft Lines Living Set, consisting of 11 Build Mode objects.

As you can see in the preview below, this Build Set used to cost 400 Moola, or around 4USD. Now you can get it for 300 Moola, or around 3USD.

There currently isn’t any information available on what happens to a player who already purchased a Set, and that Set got a price cut just two days after. Normally you’d expect a refund (at least in Moola coins) but we’re not sure if that would be the case with this EA product.

Neither the creator nor EA have released a statement about this price change as of now, but we’ll make sure to keep you posted if more is released.

It would be great if it was free and do a donation to your favorite CC and Mod creators.

Why would they give a refund? If you buy clothes or shoes in real life just before a sale, you don’t get a refund. At least where I live. If you buy a sims EP just before a sale you don’t get a refund. So I think chances of a refund are pretty slim. If someone bought it at 400 moola they agreed to the price when they purchased it. I’m not saying that’s fair but that’s how these things usually go.

I wonder why the price was lowered but I don’t think EA will tell us. Perhaps the item was under selling. Perhaps the creator can change the price range after launch.

you’re not wrong that traditionally if an item went on sale, or even had a price cut, (i own several games that are cheaper to buy now than they were at launch, including the sims 4 base game itself) someone would not be entitled to a refund. usually, however, these price cuts are long out of any kind of reasonable refund range. six months after release? thats annoying, but likely outside of any kind of refund policy. two DAYS? thats insanity. if it were me, i would be fighting tooth and nail for that 1$ of credit, on principle, because thats not only a bad business practice, its the very definition of actually ripping someone off.

even if it was free i wouldn’t download this. there is tons of crap like this in the game already. pierisim, ravasheen and that hydra are the “winners” of this horror show, but not the only ones. i didn’t even look on cas stuff cause i have the best ones from patreon already.
