The Soft Lines Living Set has been cut from 400 to 300 Moola in less than 2 days!
We didn't expect for The Sims 4 Marketplace to get dynamic with its pricing range right off the bat in its launch week, but here we are. We received a tip from Twitter user @Fur_Ross about a Sims 4 Maker Set on The Marketplace from Pierisim getting a price cut. The change happened to the Soft Lines Living Set, consisting of 11 Build Mode objects.

As you can see in the preview below, this Build Set used to cost 400 Moola, or around 4USD. Now you can get it for 300 Moola, or around 3USD.

There currently isn't any information available on what happens to a player who already purchased a Set, and that Set got a price cut just two days after. Normally you'd expect a refund (at least in Moola coins) but we're not sure if that would be the case with this EA product.

Neither the creator nor EA have released a statement about this price change as of now, but we'll make sure to keep you posted if more is released.
What are your thoughts on the small price update of The Sims 4 Soft Lines Maker Set? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more Sims 4 Marketplace updates!

even for free it’s too expensive lol
The marketplace failing already trust
Probably cause people are FINALLY boycotting this mess.
I love it. Keep boycotting
It would be great if it was free and do a donation to your favorite CC and Mod creators.
Nice chatgpt comment btw, the — are a big red flag. Idk if you’re part of this thing or if you’re just truly delulu.
I saw the lipsticks on YouTube, yes they’re pretty, but they’re $2.49, that’s highway robbery! If you add Modern Duchess, you get 12 items for a total of $5, the same price as an official EA kit, which has 25 items, so double the price! And you say that’s cheap? Before the marketplace, creator kits also had an average of 25 items. I even saw a pack with only 8 items for $5, but it’s a complete rip-off. You’ve fallen into a cycle of overconsumption where you’re going to spend a fortune on very little. It was the worst thing you could have done, but there you have it, you’re one of those compulsive shoppers who don’t know when to stop or resist.
No, the Sims are not alive, it’s the end of a cycle, you will no longer have gameplay, no more world, just decorations and accessories at an exorbitant price, until Project X, how can you talk about reasonable prices unless you are blind and unrealistic, fortunately, most have denounced this, you are out of touch, it’s pathetic for you, I don’t mean to be rude, but your discourse is lamentable, because you don’t understand that it’s theft just because you like certain elements.

don’t wast your time having a conversation with ai, bro 😉
Why would they give a refund? If you buy clothes or shoes in real life just before a sale, you don’t get a refund. At least where I live. If you buy a sims EP just before a sale you don’t get a refund. So I think chances of a refund are pretty slim. If someone bought it at 400 moola they agreed to the price when they purchased it. I’m not saying that’s fair but that’s how these things usually go.
I wonder why the price was lowered but I don’t think EA will tell us. Perhaps the item was under selling. Perhaps the creator can change the price range after launch.

you’re not wrong that traditionally if an item went on sale, or even had a price cut, (i own several games that are cheaper to buy now than they were at launch, including the sims 4 base game itself) someone would not be entitled to a refund. usually, however, these price cuts are long out of any kind of reasonable refund range. six months after release? thats annoying, but likely outside of any kind of refund policy. two DAYS? thats insanity. if it were me, i would be fighting tooth and nail for that 1$ of credit, on principle, because thats not only a bad business practice, its the very definition of actually ripping someone off.
Remember when simmers said kits were too little content for the price. Now we get half the items for the same price, so even less items for our money. I honestly didn’t think people would call this a reasonable price after just two days.
If you think the lipstick is worth it, then go for it. I am not buying anything.
You yell and complain in the hopes of convincing EA to change their ways, or stop them from growing worse. We wouldn’t have a lot of updates, including the skin tone update, if people weren’t vocal about their complaints. The people complaining are also long-time fans of the franchise and want what they feel is best for it.
And even if it doesn’t change anything, people should be allowed to complain, just as they are allowed to be positive. People should have different opinions without being told to stay silent.
oh shut up.
You’re nothing but an EA bot.
Inflation is no justification for a virtual currency like moola. Moola is designed to get people to spend more than they realise. Also the real life inflation is bit doesn’t feel on the scale as what you see in the marketplace.
But if you don’t mind spending 1368€ in one month on this game, then I don’t think there is any point in trying to convince you.
even if it was free i wouldn’t download this. there is tons of crap like this in the game already. pierisim, ravasheen and that hydra are the “winners” of this horror show, but not the only ones. i didn’t even look on cas stuff cause i have the best ones from patreon already.
What a trolling bot. You didn’t lost anything because of pirated version. People can play with pirated version of the game, which is even more stable than legit one, and just keep playing.
Can we remove these trolls/bots that are spreading misinformation?
