    The sarcasm is sending me.
But for real, out of all possible objects. WHY won’t they release some toddler or pets stuff?! We have enough beds, make up or chairs but we nearly don’t have enough of toddler/infant/kids/pets stuff…those would actually sell.

When it comes to pets, my guess is that they don’t want a repeat of the My First Pets Stuff backlash. I personally think that a kit that only had cat/dog items or only had horse items would be okay, since no reasonable person would buy the kit that only had cat clothes and then complain because they don’t have an in-game cat. But still, backlash has already happened and scared the devs.

That, and I think Marketplace creators aren’t allowed to utilize anything that didn’t come with the base game. If they were allowed to use items that aren’t from the base game, I’m sure someone would release a set of matching dog, cat, and human collars all for the price of buying an IRL dog collar.

As for children and younger, who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Pet toys and beds is something i would actually buy, since there are so few and looks so outdated.

The backlash from My First Pet Stuff was mostly that half or more of the items were clearly assets cut from the Cats and Dogs expansion pack. I don’t think as many people would have a problem with new and unique assets being made years later.

Pet stuff won’t happen because EA allows base game items only. Perhaps that will change one day but no sign of it yet.

About infant and toddler stuff… It’s a good question. I guess the makers mainly target simmers who are into fashion, not simmers who are into family gameplay.

Plenty of DLC has content that was was exclusive to another DLC before.

That’s not what Atreya is talking about. Currently the Makers can only create items using base game only items. Which means that anything from DLCs are not possible to release in Maker Packs.

These look slightly better than the vanilla eyelashes, but it’s not like that’s a high bar to clear…

Thursday is unironically the highlight of my week, because I love coming on here to read the roast of the latest release. Please never stop.

The base game eyelashes are not so great. This is an interesting choice for content, more needed than lipstick or eye shadow. But I will not start buying this whole virtual currency thing for eyelashes.

For a “sims community” page the toxicity and roasting of the game is unreal. I dont support the marketplace, but calling the work if Miiko “crusty” is unnecessarily rude. The lashes are fine, they a are modified version of the base games ones, some may enjoy it, some dont.

You proved the point – “some may enjoy it, some dont”. I don’t which is why I stated my dissatisfaction with the quality by saying they’re crusty. You think the lashes are fine. And that’s the whole point of having an opinion on a paid product release.

While I and agree or disagree with a reviewer’s opinion in particular, I appreciate a reviewer having an opinion. That is the point of the review. People may share on the comment section that they disagree with the reviewer, but I hope the site continues to give their honest opinion. Is SimsCommunity sassy? Yes. But that is what it makes it distinct from AI slop, having a voice.

Anyone playtested these in pov? The other lashes float in front of your camera so I never use them

    LOVE the shade

I kind of like them but can’t really tell until I see them on a sim from further away and I don’t want to buy them if I’m not sure how they will look. The CC ones all come with a caveat of doesn’t work with this or that.
