What’s included in The Sims 4 Ever After Mod?
There’s a lot of detail in this mod and so many new storytelling features and moodlets.
Marriage Readiness Test
Let’s begin with Marriage Readiness Test that is an online test take your Sim can take through the computer. The result you get from these tests are always random and you can decide to accept your it, deny it, or retake the test. If you accept your Sim will gain a reward trait depending on what result they got.
Reward traits
Two new reward traits for your Sims come with this mod. The first one is called Ready for Marriage, and the other one is NOT Ready for Marriage. You can always ask other Sims if they are marriage material or not. The ones that are not ready for marriage can not propose or get proposed to, and they’ll even get nauseous if they see someone fantasize about weddings.
Let The Watcher Decide Your Proposal
In The Sims 4 Ever After Mod you are now able to respond when a Sim propose and continue to have a small dialog where you can choose from different answers. If you reject a proposal your Sim can “Discuss the future of relationship” and “Question the rejected proposal” with other Sims and mood buffs with these interactions will appear. Why your Sim rejected the proposal can be chosen as well, for example Too Soon to Get Married or Financial Reasons.
Destination Weddings
Thatssojordy wanted to sprinkle a little bit more storytelling to Destination Weddings with this mod. If your Sim have a dream destination for their wedding they can get married there and earn a milestone saying “Had Dream Wedding Ceremony in…”.
Ready or Knot Company
A brand new app called Ready or Knot gives your Sims the option to work in their wedding invitations, look at different wedding venue costs and compare them, make an inspiration board for their wedding, and set up registry.
Wedding Registry
By setting up a wedding registry your Sims can choose what wedding gifts they prefer. Maybe you only want simoleons, but you can also get gifts from the Wedding Gifts Marketplace, and Wedding Budget Friendly gifts. Get ready for those wedding gifts!
Preparations Before Getting Married
Between Sims that are engaged and not engaged you can find a few new interactions like Whisper Ideas for the Wedding Night, Argue over Honeymoon Trip, Ask for Opinion on Future Spouse, and more. You can find these in the Ever After pie menu.
Are We a Match?
Is this a good or bad thing to go and see if you’re a match or not? Let’s find out by visiting the Marriage Counselling Center for 1500 Simoleons. Will their be a wedding, or did everything just turn into a complete disaster?
Going Over the Guest List
You can go over the guestlist together with your partner, and if you have the Game Pack The Sims 4: Parenthood you can write down the guest list in the journal that comes with that pack.
Sign a Prenup
You can ask your partner if they are willing to sign a prenup which can be pretty risky. They can agree and everything’s normal, but they can also get very upset. Anyhow, if they are willing to sign it you visit the Notary Office which you’ll find through their phone. Afterwards you’ll find the prenup in your inventory that’s ready to sign.
Cold Feet
Lastly, we all love the realism here. Your Sim can get cold feet. They can get stressed moodlets and then “Stress Over Wedding” and hopefully they’ll calm down. Their is a small chance that they’ll get cold feet for real though. What you can do if this happens is visiting the counselling center, talk with a friend, or even admit to your partner and hope that they’ll take it well.
