I know you all saw this in the seasons trailer. But really, isn’t this the best icon yet in a Sims game? pic.twitter.com/QrcPlQNL3v

Kids can come to your door trick or treating.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 9, 2018
This. You create your own spooky day. We give you the tools. And in classic Sims design mantra, make no judgements when you combine trick or treating with streaking.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 9, 2018
Holidays appear for all sims in the world across your entire save. You can run multiple saves with different custom holidays.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 9, 2018
Yep. Kids stop by your house. If you have the candy bowl from spooky stuff they can take candy from there. If you dont have spooky stuff they knock on your door and you have to trick or treat them.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 9, 2018
No. That is so untrue. You can only change it to 1, 2 and ‘4’ week increments. 😉
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 9, 2018
There are icicle decorations for the house.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 10, 2018
If you move Father Winter into your house you can alter his clothing. Just not while he is on the job.
He does hand out gifts to your Sims.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 11, 2018
Yep. You can celebrate Holidays while on vacation. So if you wanted to you could recreate Día de los Muertos in Selvadorada if you wanted. pic.twitter.com/0AbbAO50j2
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 11, 2018
Created holidays are stored in the save. When you create one it will repeat each year until you delete it.
If you switch saves you will only have the default holidays until you create more.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 11, 2018
Yes. It only appears if you have a pack that sells fireworks.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 11, 2018
The calendar is your best bet. But, the weather can be unpredictable. And different worlds have different rules. Like Selvadorada being too warm for snow.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 12, 2018
Yep. 1, 2, and 4 week seasons.
— George Pigula (@SimGuruGeorge) June 13, 2018
If you don’t have a thermostat it’ll be either cool or warm inside, but won’t be lethal. Still might not be comfy though, so your sim might appreciate some heating / cooling tech 🙂
— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 12, 2018
The calendar doesn’t show upcoming festivals, as those are surprises when you live in San Myshuno!
— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 12, 2018
Since the calendar is heavily tied to seasons, weather, & holidays, it’s going to be available only with Seasons. Sorry if that’s disappointing 🙁
— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 13, 2018
Yes, if it’s freezing out fishing isn’t available. Fishes need some time to warm up 🐟
— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) June 13, 2018
Can you maybe answer that question I asked a few days ago already? That would be amazing, thank you:-) pic.twitter.com/IM9Pv0XyWv
— ☀☔Bellguru8☔☀ (@Bellguru8) June 7, 2018
It doesn’t affect Sixam or Sylvan Glades.

EA has announced the Origin Access Premier during their EA Play Press Conference, allowing PC players to get their hands on the newest PC titles such as Anthem, FIFA 19, Battlefield 5 and more for a price of $14,99 per month. There’s much more games included in Origin Access Premier which is releasing this summer.
One of the games included is The Sims 4 Premier, which features The Sims 4 Base Game Digital Deluxe Edition, The Sims 4 Kids Room Stuff Pack and The Sims 4 Dine Out Game Pack. All of these will be available with a $14,99 month / $99,99 year subscription, along with other games.
For all you PC Simmers, Origin Access Premier** was announced at EA PLAY. With Origin Access Premier, you get unlimited access to The Sims 4 Deluxe Edition, The Sims 4 Dine Out, and The Sims 4 Kids Room Stuff. You’ll also get over 100 other great PC titles to play as much as you want, and you’ll get new games before they release. No trial, no waiting, just play.
Note: If you own The Sims 4, upgrading to The Sims 4 Premier edition may affect your save files. Going forward, your saved games will only work with versions of The Sims 4 that have access to the same Packs that are available in The Sims 4 Premier edition. If your Access Premier membership expires, you may need to purchase additional Packs to load any of your new or updated game saves. For more information, please view the FAQs.
SimGurus who are working on The Sims 4 for Xbox One and PS4 have answered a few questions on Twitter regarding the upcoming packs for The Sims 4 Console as well as what they have in plan for The Gallery on Consoles.
To be clear. This is not the full gallery feature. Our team has made it possible to grab pc gallery content and patch it into the console version so you have more options. It is the first step in a longer journey
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) June 10, 2018
We are only taking a handful of creations from the PC/Mac Gallery and bringing them to console. They will appear under My Library just like the Maxis created content. This is in no way intended to replace Gallery on the console, that is something we are still working on.
— SimGuruLegacy (@SimGuruLegacy) June 13, 2018
Correct, it gives console players more pre-builds to play with. There currently isn’t a way for creators to know they are featured in console unless they load up the console version of TS4.
— SimGuruLegacy (@SimGuruLegacy) June 13, 2018
This will not impact your library space at all. We know that is tight 🙂
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) June 10, 2018
None of the selected creations include CC. As you say, consoles don’t support mods so we curate each creation before we bring it over to the console. We are starting small with our first run of these items to get the process right and more importantly, see how you like it.
— SimGuruLegacy (@SimGuruLegacy) June 11, 2018
Not quite. There is no downloading. We have taken some favorite creations from the community and put them into the console build. So only Maxis can add to your library for now
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) June 11, 2018
On average one per month but there is not a release every month since we often release multiple packs on the same day.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) June 12, 2018
The same time does not seem likely since console takes more time to release than pc but we hope to bring them closer together.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) June 13, 2018
We have never said that we cannot do it. We have also never said we won’t. I have confirmed that is is something we want to do and we are working on it. No dates to share for launch yet though.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) June 13, 2018
I cannot confirm future release dates. The extra content from PC in your console gallery is coming this summer
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) June 13, 2018
You can send to either or both of us. I still work with people on Sims 4 console every week. I also still care a lot about what we do on console and I like interacting with our community.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) June 13, 2018

UPDATE: The Sims Team has elaborated more on what we can expect during “Summer of The Sims”. They’ve also shared a web page dedicated exclusively to it!
Turn up the heat for the Summer of the Sims! Keep an eye on this page for new blogs and content throughout the summer. Check out the fan art kit, read about the climate family, and get a sneak peek of Seasons now.
The Sims Team released a new Fan Art Kit which includes assets of The Sims 4 games, The Sims Mobile and The Sims FreePlay that you are free to use for creation of your Fansite, YouTube and other type of content on the internet.
What’s interesting about this Fan Art Kit is that all of the folders for The Sims games have been marked under the “Summer of The Sims” name.
We don’t know anything else beyond this information, but considering that Seasons is just around the corner that leaves plenty of space for new announcements and releases throughout the rest of the summer. There’s also an information that The Sims 4 Get Together & Laundry Day are also being hinted for a Console release, which means that they’re not that far away from being released!
Are you excited for the Summer of The Sims?
The Sims team revealed today over on Twitter that they are adding another game pack and stuff pack to The Sims 4 Console version soon. In fact it is releasing next week on 19th June!
Ugh, the kids are acting up again. Be the best parent you can be with Parenthood and Kids Room Stuff now coming consoles! pic.twitter.com/oNeC4IrYyL

As we have seen recently some of the SimGurus have been sharing a variety of GIF’s and short videos showcasing what we can expect from the upcoming Seasons expansion pack. Of course this makes us super excited for the expansions release which is just ten days from today!

Someone asked about the transitions earlier. Well, I was up near the waterfalls in Selvadorada when the rain rolled in. Time to head back to my Villa.

Thank you to SimGuruGrant and SimGuruGeorge for sharing these small glimpse’s at what The Sims 4 Seasons has in store for us!
UK retailer GAME now has The Sims 4: Seasons available to pre-order for £34.99!

SimGuruGrant shared a new poll yesterday on his Twitter wanting to know what Simmers thought the most important feature would be if The Sims team created a farming expansion. Check out the poll on Twitter and let us know what you think as well in the comments!
Let’s do a poll for EA Play. Many of you hit us up for a FARMING expansion. What is the single most important feature you would want? You have two days – vote.

With EA Play now in full swing many fans have had the opportunity to get hands on with the new Seasons expansion for The Sims 4. We have rounded up all the information into one handy article for you.
As originally reported by the Brazilian fan site SimClub, they have shared a couple of screenshots as well as a few bits of information that they gathered from the short time of playing the upcoming Seasons expansion for The Sims 4.
But that’s not all. Xmiramira also shared a couple of images the of the new Scout Badges on her Snapchat (thank you Kai for the screenshots). Also Mod The Sims user Hiabara shared some more details on Mod The Sims.

From what we know, your Sims will earn their Scout badges through completing certain tasks.
The ever so lovely RoryPlays_ shared a quick little tweet showcasing snow falling in the game and it looks so magical!
It’s snowing at EA Play! Standing here playing #TS4Seasons and it’s AAAMAAAAAAZING!!!

As well as what we have already mentioned above fans who have attended EA Play have shared their experiences with the expansion and one user on Reddit who goes by the name of BTEAMNORTH
I am actually really pleased with the way weather turned out. The effects are beautiful.
I love love the calendar too. 😍 I did notice that if you plan an event from your phone, it doesn’t give you the option to plan in the future. (Which is dumb) maybe it’ll be patched? I’m so excited to build. REALLY excited to add The Sims 4 Seasons to my game. 😬😬😬😬
Disappointed that there are virtually no new wall or floor options.. but those GLASS ROOFS. 😍😍😍😍😍
THEY’RE PERFECT.
If anyone has any questions, let me know! I dont think I saw everything, but I enjoyed what I saw!
— Someone asked if I had a Twitter: @BBTeamNorth
Has this got you excited for The Sims 4 Seasons? We can’t wait to be able play the expansion.
SimGuruDuke has shared on Twitter that The Gallery will be coming to The Sims 4 on Console’s in the next patch! Although it looks as though it is not the full Gallery that PC users have access to currently it is still a great start for console players. Hopefully the full version of the Gallery will be added in the future.
Wanted to share a preview of a new thing coming to console in the next update. Thx to @catloverplayer for the clever idea. Also, tag @SimGuruLegacy if you have suggestions for other content to bring over. pic.twitter.com/tcOKAUmZvI

Now EA Play’s Live show kicks off at 11am PDT (7pm GMT, 8pm CET, 2pm EST) where we will see EA showcase many of their upcoming games as well as big reveals and maybe even a few surprises.
Of course, if you can’t make it to EA Play in Hollywood you can, of course, catch everything that is happening on EA.com, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. EA will be streaming the event on YouTube so make sure you don’t miss out!
