The Sims 4: Ambience Mod Mini Pack

Hey everyone, Zerbu here, with a brand new mod for The Sims 4. I didn’t think this is because enough to be considered a “Mod Pack”, so I have labeled it as a Mod Mini Pack.

The Sims 4 Ambience adds world-specific effects to the game, so, for example, Sims will feel and behave differently in Oasis Springs than they would in Willow Creek.

The most noticeable change is with Oasis Springs: while Sims are in Oasis Springs, they will be Energized by default, their Hunger will decay faster, they will gain Physical and Creative skills slightly faster and Mental skills slightly slower, all to reflect the environment. The hidden locations, Sylvan Glade and Forgotten Grotto, also have their own effects. Sims in Sylvan Glade will be Flirty by default and will build romance faster than other Sims. Sims in Forgotten Grotto will be Energized by default and their Fun need will decay slower to reflect the enjoyment of being in such a fascination place. I plan to update the mod as future worlds become available with packs.

Furthermore, this Mod Mini Pack provides early steps to being able to live in travel worlds. The “Residential” lot type and the “Move In Household from The Gallery” interaction has been unlocked for Granite Falls, which gives the limited ability to be able to live there. This is not currently recommended though except in special circumstances, since it becomes impossible for Sims to ever leave Granite Falls without moving somewhere else.
