Moschino has some serious competition!

Grimcookies and Harrie are mostly known for their impeccable Custom Stuff Pack CC Sets and Creations that match perfectly with The Sims 4’s Art Style. They’ve also brought some amazing hairstyles, clothing, makeup and more.

Both of them worked on a secret project for months that today they’ve proudly revealed. They’ve partnered with Gucci to bring their real-life Off The Grid collection to The Sims 4!

Gucci partners with Sims 4 Content Creators to bring their New Collection to The Game

Grimcookies worked on bringing 4 CAS and 11 decor items to the game, with different swatches that completely match the original Gucci designs. Not only that but the build items also give a positive environment and mood score and if you have The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle installed they’ll also boost the green eco footprint!

For a full breakdown of what’s included and how the project came to life check out Gucci’s full statement and Grimcookies’ video below:

Both talents explored ways to bring to life Gucci Off the Grid for the virtual world. Known by his handle Grimcookies, the popular custom content creator recreated pieces from the Gucci Off The Grid collection, available for players who have downloaded these Mods in The Sims 4. True to their original designs, hats and shoes will be available for The Sims characters to wear, while the backpacks and other accessories can be used as decorations for players to fill their builds with. Grimcookies also digitalized the Gucci Off The Grid campaign, featuring the testimonials including Jane Fonda.

In real life the Gucci Off The Grid collection is sustainably made with regenerated, recycled, organic and sustainably sourced materials, and in- game when players use the Gucci Off The Grid pieces they obtain a green eco-footprint and an environment score of 10. Upon entering rooms with Gucci Off the Grid items, Sim characters’ moods will go up.

Grimcookies talks users through how he custom built the Gucci Off The Grid items in a specially made Youtube video tutorial.

Harrie worked on building a whole Off The Grid Treehose for this Gucci pack! You can check out what Gucci had to say about her creation, as well as her full Speed Build below:

Another video is filmed by popular YouTube personality and custom content creator Harrie, also part of The Sims community. The video shows her speed building a digital counterpart of the treehouse from the Gucci Off The Grid campaign. Harrie recreates the tree house from its base to its roof, and finishes it with sustainability elements, including upcycled wood, wind turbines, green-roofing, recycled furniture, and imagines the natural landscaping surrounding it, to raise awareness of the importance of including environmental decisions in everything we do. Gucci Off The Grid items can also be seen decorating the treehouse.

Gucci even released two official trailers for this collection below that you can check out!

Are you ready to get your Gucci on in The Sims 4? This amazing CC set is available for FREE on Grimcookies’ website. Simply make sure you paste the .zip contents and extract them into Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 >Mods folder and make sure you’ve enabled CC / Mods in your game options!

It’s kinda hard to transfer the coding and change it up to have the same as a pc/Mac but then on ps4 you can’t download certain things onto its software and may take up even more space…. hopefully they do change it around to where y’all can get cc but they might make the game packs and expansions higher then buying on pc

I agree but first let me say I’m a 40 year old simmer been playing since sims 1
EA should really hire new staff…. They need new staff
CC creators like this guy should really be on the EA payroll… In the stuff packs department…
So we can have it in the game.. some of us don’t or won’t use CC due to game crashing and the CC management one must keep up in order to enjoy that CC….
Just pick a good CC creator and hire them it will be worth EA ‘s while…
Especially
With other games coming out similar to the sims4
Also if you’re going to put culture in the game packs maybe talk first to a real person who is from that culture so they can give do’s and do not’s…
Shrine worship…
EA just put real life oppression in the game why…
That’s like creating say… A plantations vacation pack for the game with masters and all… Come on EA… Do your research…

The fact is when it comes to culture and religion it can be tricky as many have different views even when you try to get a good grasp of it. Look at the recent controversy you mentioned – Some SK players don’t think it’s that big of a deal meanwhile others feel the opposite. The Shinto religion has been in Japan centuries before any war crimes with Korea and it seems rather unfair to lump it all together as bad because then it would only be fair to do that with other religions as well (and other countries) for whatever crimes were committed. There is one controversial shrine in Japan but there are many shrines that had nothing to do with Korea. Shrines are everywhere and tourists from all religious backgrounds come to see them, interact and even get charms too. Aspects of religion have been in this game starting from the Christmas tree and menorah (both free and paid) that are often associated with the christian and Jewish faiths. Many players have expressed wanting to have things that are inclusive such as religious attire and some objects. Even the views among practicing Muslims is different in how they view the hijab, religion based restrictions or the religion itself.

Also regarding cc, creators have a much wider range of freedom when they do content on their own. Once they become under EA they are under EA’s rules, resources and restrictions. Some of the gurus were sims players that likely had thought that working there was a dream come true only to get disillusioned
and feel disappointed by some of the actions by EA and the sims community itself. Some of them have even said they don’t even get time to play the game and in some of the streams it really shows.

Right. Just have EA patch it in if it’s just a few new items.

I’ve been cutting back on alpha clothes and clutter/build items. My computer can handle it (have over 80 GB) but I want to clean out my folders and organize things better. Plus alpha items stand out too much in TS4 so it breaks the immersion for me.

Will this be made available for the other platforms as well. I dont like the idea of this only being available for PC. Are the other platforms being punished because we dont have the PC version.

This is custom content so it’s only available for PC. This has nothing to do with EA and is not official content. That’s just the downside of not using PC. EA doesn’t really have any control, from what I was told, about cc being enabled for non PC players and that has more to do with the companies that own the other platforms.

It has nothing to do with EA or Maxis though. It’s an independant creator that made custom content, having their own partnership with Gucci that had nothing to do with Maxis/EA. They don’t get to just “code it it” even if it’s just a few items. I mean, it’s not like they haven’t borrowed cc designs or mods before, or name items after very notable mods, but they can’t just take someone else’s work and put it in their game (aka make money off someone else’s creative property, both Grimcookie/Harrie’s hard work creating them digitally and Gucci’s original designs.

Honestly with you commenting “just patch it in” so flippantly as many times as you have kinda screams entitlement. If you don’t play PC, sucks but you made that choice, if you do play pc just deal with mod folder upkeep like the rest of us. It’s not exactly hard.
