I know everyone is hyping this game, but I think it’s expansive as an Early Access game which is missing core features like a family tree, menu system or adoption. I mean those are some important things for a Life Sim imo
The most important thing is that there are washing machines and not like in the Sims where they charge you a DLC for having washing machines, another DLC for the weather, and so on. This base game for €40 has many more things than in the Sims and its empty base game.
I don’t know that “washing machines” are the “most important thing” like if I had to choose between washing machines and family trees, I can very much wait for washing machines, spend the dev time on the family trees. That being said, I am excited to play inZoi next week.
Let’s remember how lacking was the sims 4 base game too… No pools, infants, basements… I think it also lacked a family tree .
A life sim requires so much work and 40€ it’s reduced price, now games are selling for 60€/80€. I would always wait for a release anyways, these are just promises and it’s common to unfulfill them in the gaming industry…
InZOI Mod Kit (Maya, Blender)
This mean plugins for Maya and Blender?
Uggggh I want to play this game sooooooo bad but my pc can’t handle it
I don’t think this game will replace the Sims for me but I am excited to have something NEW to play in the same arena that’s not the Sims. I think there are certain features that are really just designed for streamers and social media which is fine, I just don’t care about those. Like I don’t see in what world I care about motion capture. But I do care about how well genetics work and how effective the personality system is in making Zoi feel like unique beings.
If you understand what “Early Access” is, which is an opportunity to experience a game as it grows. $40 is a great deal for what you are getting. Even knowing it was early access, I expected a $60-$70 price tag and honestly (because it’s Krafton) some sort of microtransaction system even in early access. That may still come, but for now happy to pay the $40 and see if this game can turn into something special and give it a chance to do so.
I’m left handed so the WASD movement in building etc. is really difficult – impossible for walking etc but I have to wait until October for Hotkey customization? That’s going to be a heck of a wait for me and if you do have to use WASD to move around it will be impossible for me to play at all. So want to play this game so really hope that wait gets improved.
Oh I ready to take part of this. I love how they planned this and share it with us. Feels like sims 2. When you bought an expansion you could see th next one on the other side of the cover. Now thats how a company should work. Bye sims. Hello InZoi
I feel sorry for people who can’t play it but it’s always on GFN and there will be paralives this year
