It’s been a little less than a month since the release of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, so you may think people have run out of ideas for making custom objects or designing Miis, but that is not even close to the case. Instead, players are continuing to put their imaginations to work, filling their games with funny, fantastic, and freaky creations. It doesn’t matter whether it’s transporting favored franchises into their worlds, creating realistic items, or making original characters — Tomodachi Life players are doing it all.

And lucky for us, they’re sharing their work across the many social media platforms. Honestly, I can’t stop Living the Dream posts from showing up on my feeds, but I can’t say I’m mad at being bombarded by players’ sheer creativity. Here’s our favorite (or at least some of them, as there are really too many to include) player creations that really embrace the seemingly limitless potential of Living the Dream’s customization.

I drew Totodile as a pet in Tomodachi Life Living the Dream! He’s my favorite starter Pokemon & it took me 3 hours to draw him. This is my 2nd ever pixel art that I made. pic.twitter.com/sMwssXtCTj

Pokémon fans are putting their all into custom creations, from pets to houses to island decor to Miis. Soon enough, Tomodachi Life will be an actual Pokémon game.

Sorry not sorry, Miis with dreams of being designers are not welcome on the island.
Thanks to the Palette House and the customization options in Create A Mii, players really can bring their dream Tomodachi Life islands to life. Especially considering Nintendo decided not to filter the game whatsoever. And sharing all of these creations with each other on social media platforms creates a sense of community, leaving us laughing, in awe, or sometimes a little startled. It’s just too bad we can’t download each other’s designs — for now, the internet is simply an art gallery of Living the Dream creations for us to admire and attempt to recreate if we have the time. But it’s probably easier to just make your own creations.
