The Sims 4 High School Years: CAS Households Gallery Spotlight

Following on from my recent High School Years builds showcase, I thought it was only fair that we turned our attention to the Sims who are actually going to be filling all of those classrooms, corridors and after school hangouts! Sims 4 High School Years CAS here we come!

Heading into Create a Sim and taking a look at some fantastic High School inspired households from across the community, I will admit, The Sims 4 CAS showcases are a little outside my comfort zone. Give me a suspiciously expensive starter home and I can happily talk about it all day. Sims themselves? That is a whole different challenge!

Thankfully, the creators featured here have done the difficult part for me. I have found a few households ready to bring a little more life, personality and, undoubtedly, drama to your high school experience. Whether you need a new best friend for your teen, their next crush, a rival for valedictorian or simply a few more faces to stop the school corridors feeling quite so empty, there are plenty of Sims here ready to join your game. So let’s meet our High School Years class!

High School Teen Boys - SimmerLarsy

If you’re looking to add a few handsome new faces to your high school halls, SimmerLarsy is definitely a Gallery creator worth checking out. Their High School Teen Boys household brings together three wonderfully distinct teen Sims, each with their own look and personality shining through. Even from the Gallery preview, you can already imagine these three turning up on the first day of school and immediately becoming part of the social scene, whether that means making friends, joining after school activities, or causing a little teenage drama along the way.

I especially love finding CAS creators like this because they make filling out a world feel so much easier. Instead of seeing the same familiar townies wandering the corridors, you can introduce fresh Sims who already look like they belong together, then let the game decide where their stories go from there.

High School Years Teens - DarkBlueUK75

If your Copperdale High School is crying out for a ready made friendship group, DarkBlueUK75 has you covered! Their High School Years Teens household introduces Kendra, Nico, Kellan and Honney, four teen friends who already look like they have plenty of stories to tell. I love that each Sim has such a distinctive style while still looking completely natural together as a group. You can almost picture them claiming the same lunch table every day, swapping gossip between classes and deciding whose house everyone is heading to after school.

DarkBlueUK75 has put a lot of personality into these Sims, with lovely little details in their hairstyles, outfits and overall looks helping each teen feel like an individual. They’re a great option if you want to quickly add some fresh faces to your high school population, whether they become your Sim’s new besties, their first crush, or perhaps that one friend who somehow manages to drag everyone into trouble. Because really, what would high school be without a little drama?

School Drama ♥ Cute Teens - beardphrodite

Now this is a household made for anyone who enjoys a little teenage drama in their game! Created by beardphrodite, School Drama ♥ Cute Teens introduces Nathan, his ex girlfriend Phoebe, her best friend Thalia and Sage, and there is already quite the tangled romantic situation waiting for you. Nathan and Phoebe broke up during summer camp, Thalia is secretly in love with Nathan, and Sage has a crush on Phoebe. Awkward school corridors incoming!

These four aren’t simply new faces to populate Copperdale High, they arrive with potential complications already bubbling away. Will Nathan and Phoebe find their way back to each other? Will Thalia finally confess how she feels? Or will your gameplay send everyone in a completely unexpected direction? This is definitely one for storytellers who like their high school saves with an extra helping of drama.

High School Years - Teens - Loulicorn

If your Copperdale High needs a few more stylish students roaming the halls, Loulicorn has created a lovely group of teens who are ready to slot straight into your save. High School Years Teens brings together four Sims with wonderfully different looks, from soft pastel outfits and pink hair to laid back hoodies and a seriously cute peachy cheer inspired style. They feel like the sort of friendship group where everyone has their own personality, but somehow they just work together.

These teens would be perfect for filling out classrooms and giving your own Sims a few more people to meet. Perhaps there’s a future prom queen amongst them, a new cheerleading rival, a best friend waiting to happen! Loulicorn has given you the faces and the style, but exactly where their teenage years take them is completely up to you.

High School Years Teens - Absgaming

Absgaming has put together another fantastic group of teens ready to make Copperdale High feel a whole lot busier! Their High School Years Teens household features four friends, from bold blue braids and sporty layers to checkerboard prints, glasses and some wonderfully colorful outfits, they each have their own style while still looking completely believable as a group of school friends.

Drop them into Copperdale and suddenly your Sim has new classmates to sit beside, rivals to accidentally annoy and, naturally, a few possible crushes to discover. Who knows which one might end up becoming an unexpected favorite in your story?

Of course, sometimes you aren’t looking for just a couple of new classmates. Sometimes you want to open Manage Worlds, drop an entire household into your save and instantly make Copperdale feel a whole lot busier! That is where these larger CAS creations come in.

The next few households bring together eight Sims at a time, giving you an instant collection of new students to fill classrooms, populate the corridors and generally make your high school feel a little less like the same handful of Sims have been enrolled there forever. You can keep them together, split them between households or scatter them across your worlds and see who your own Sims naturally end up befriending, dating or absolutely refusing to get along with.

Adolescents / Teens - ItsPixia

If variety is what you’re after, ItsPixia has created a brilliant group to start filling out your teen population. These eight Sims all have noticeably different styles, from colorful casual looks and varsity inspired outfits to something a little more alternative, giving you a group that feels varied without anyone looking out of place wandering the halls of Copperdale High.

NPC TEENAGERS ПОДРОСТКИ - juliiyakk

Juliiyakk’s NPC Teenagers are another easy way to introduce eight completely new faces to your world in one go. Their outfits have plenty of individuality, but they also look like Sims you could genuinely imagine bumping into around school, at ThrifTea or simply wandering around town after class.

There is a lovely mix of styles here too, so they don’t immediately read as one carefully coordinated friendship group. That makes them especially useful as background townies.

High School Townies - xsugarycarnival

Xsugarycarnival has really embraced individuality with this collection of High School Townies! Every Sim immediately has something that catches your attention, whether it is brightly colored hair, bold patterns, layered outfits or a much more understated everyday look.

That variety is exactly what I want from a household designed to fill out a world. Not every student at Copperdale High should look like they shop together! Drop these eight into your game and you have an instant assortment of potential classmates, friends, crushes and rivals who already feel visually distinct from one another. I can already imagine spotting some of these Sims across the cafeteria and immediately wanting to know what their story is.

Cute Teen Townies- aneebananee

If you want your new classmates to bring plenty of style with them, aneebananee’s Cute Teen Townies certainly understood the assignment! This household has a slightly bolder, fashion-forward feel, with checkerboard prints, sporty touches and plenty of black worked throughout the group.

Despite those shared touches, each teen still manages to have their own identity. They could easily become the effortlessly cool group everyone knows at school, but there is absolutely nothing stopping you from splitting them up and giving each Sim an entirely different life.

High School Years Townies - SakuraLeon

Now we are getting into a whole collection of High School Years households from SakuraLeon, and these are ideal if your main goal is simply to give Copperdale High a much larger student body.

This first group brings together another eight distinctive teens, with everything from preppy and sporty looks to softer everyday outfits and more individual alternative styles. I particularly like that they look as though they could all occupy completely different corners of the high school social scene rather than feeling like one matching group.

Add them to your save, evict them from the household if you want them roaming freely as townies, and you have eight new students ready to start appearing in your teen Sim’s life.

High School Years Townies - SakuraLeon

SakuraLeon’s next household continues that same idea but brings a completely different set of personalities to the mix. This group feels especially fun if you like your high school population to have plenty of visual variety, with some Sims looking sporty, others leaning more alternative and everyone having their own little details that help them stand apart.

And that is really the beauty of adding households like these. You don’t necessarily need an elaborate backstory prepared for every Sim before they enter your game. Sometimes it is much more fun to add them to the world, see who actually turns up at school and let friendships, crushes and grudges develop naturally through gameplay.

High School Years Townies - SakuraLeon

One more group from SakuraLeon. There are some particularly fun looks amongst these eight, with school spirit, alternative fashion and casual everyday styles all represented. Once again, nobody feels like a copy of the Sim standing beside them, which is exactly what you want when adding a large batch of townies to your save.

Between SakuraLeon’s three student households alone, you could give your high school population quite the refresh. Mix all three together and suddenly there are enough new faces for friendships, cliques, romances and rivalries to form without you having to spend an entire evening inside Create a Sim yourself.

Teacher Townie - SakuraLeon

Of course, we can’t replace practically the entire student body and leave the teachers out!

SakuraLeon’s Teacher Townies give you eight adult Sims designed with education and different careers in mind, making them a great companion to all of those new teenagers. There is a fantastic variety of personalities suggested through their outfits alone, from the wonderfully colorful art teacher to Sims who look considerably more formal and ready to take charge of a classroom.

Even if they don’t all end up working at Copperdale High, they are useful additions for filling out the adult population around your teen Sims. After adding this many students, it only seems fair that we give them a few new grown-ups to keep an eye on all the chaos too!

And with that, I think the halls of Copperdale High should be looking considerably busier!

Whether you are looking for one new teen to drop into an existing save or an entire group of students to completely shake up your high school experience, hopefully you have found a few new faces that you cannot wait to play with.

Paired with the right High School Years build you could give Copperdale quite the makeover. A brand new school is all well and good, but fill it with new friendships, crushes, rivalries and plenty of teenage drama and suddenly it starts to feel like a completely different world. And knowing The Sims, at least one of those carefully planned relationships will probably go spectacularly wrong within the first day.
