The Sims 4 Ravenwood World Overview

Things always get a little spooky in Ravenwood. The Whispering Glen with its nightly Moon Revelry festivities is perhaps the most “normal” part of the area, where locals have settled down for a slice of quiet, country life. Crow’s Crossing village, however, is clearly quite haunted—swings swaying by themselves, that Merchant fellow down by the Crypt, scary little Edith guarding the Well of Longing and Regret…but despite the hauntings, the living have certainly made it their home as well with a variety of festivals and places to explore. Mourningvale is where things get extra ethereal! It’s well known as a home for Ghosts and those seeking them. Sometimes Grim even stops by!

Ravenwood includes a total of 13 lots, 8 residential, 3 community, and 2 empty lots. Plus one hidden lot. It is built inspired by real places in the Balkan region, especially Romania’s medieval towns.

District: Crow’s Crossing

Crow’s Crossing is a village founded by Moppy the Goat and rumored to be frequented by Ghosts and regular hauntings. Visit the Mysterious Merchant in the old Specter graveyard, investigate the Tarot Tome Shrine on the edge of town, explore an abandoned house, or grand a wish at the Well of Longing and Regret. Just watch out for Edith!
Crow’s Crossing hosts a variety of Festivals:
– Try Before You Die Casket Sale
– Crow’s Crossing Celebration of Life
– Ravenwood Family Day
Be sure to check out the Town Hall for more information.

Specter Family Manor

For decades, this home has housed the Specter family, but now its history is closely tied to Olive Specter, a widow many times over. This house, sits almost like a crow on its perch watching the Specter cemetery below and waiting for yet another skeleton to join the closet. (Or in this house’s case, maybe the basement…)

Old Ravenwood Estate

Everyone in Ravenwood knows about old Ravenwood Estate. It’s one of the oldest buildings in the village, though it’s been vacant for years. Locals whisper about its regal but oddly overbearing presence, the once fastidiously-tended garden turned wild, and the lovely abandoned greenhouse on the estate’s grounds. Rumor has it this was once the summer home of a powerful Spellcaster and Tarot reader long ago. If a Sim comes along who can get past the flickering lights, foreboding sounds, and other inexplicable happenings inside, they’ll have quite the fixer-upper…
