The Sims Team released a brand new patch for The Sims 4!

To update your Game, simply open Origin and The Sims 4 will update automatically. If you have any Mods or Custom Content, please take them out of your Mods folder before updating since they be incompatible with the new version of the game.

To make sure that you’re updated, open GameVersion.txt file in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. If it tells your game version is 1.0.728.0, it means your game has updated successfully!

Bug Fixes / Issues:

  • Fixed some issues related to error codes 102 and 122–Fixed an issue that prevents loading an auto-saved game directly from the “Load Game” menu.
  • Fixed some instances of disappearing Sims.

Did you know?

  • You can change your camera preferences in the Options panel to use the The Sims 3 Camera control scheme. [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [Tab] will also toggle between The Sims 4 and The Sims 3camera settings.

I updated my game. I then followed the instructions to make sure it updated, and the code “1.0.728.0” but the code I have is “1.0.677.20”. Origin said that it updated properly. Why is it giving me this error now? I have no mods installed. I installed one mod but I deleted it. Please help.
