Another week, another release of new The Sims 4 Maker Packs by Custom Content creators to The Marketplace. Or 400 Moola. But you’ll have to spend 5USD to get the Moola.
The second set is yet another release from SixamCC. With a brave price tag of 4 dollars for 10 objects that continue the “Japandi” Theme Set Release that was introduced with the first launch Home Bedroom Set on The Marketplace.

It might be cute but very harsh to be charging 8 dollars for 18 objects total…seperated into two sets.

I don’t want to be the one who dictates any opinions though. That’s entirely up to you to comment about in the section down below!

The plant one looks so low def. How did that even get approved? Look at the flowers, the roses, … it literally looks like Sims 1…
You should put price-per-item data on these posts.
For those wondering, your average kit- if you’re being generous and going by the lower-end, to make the market look better- has 25 items for 5 dollars (In truth, they have 28-30).
That’s 20 cents per item.
Sixam’s set here is 40 cents per item, or 2x the price of a shoddy kit.
BrazenLotus’ is 25 cents per item, or 1.25x the price of a shoddy kit.
If I were to use more faithful kit prices of 17 cents an item, obviously both get worse, but I’m being “generous” here.
So far, only two maker sets are less than the price of a kit (and neither are any good).
I’ve been calculating this for the Maker Packs too. I’ve noticed that Sixam in particular consistently has pretty, erm, *bold* pricing.
Even when he was just a CC creator, Sixam was known for…egregiously long early access periods. That this has transferred to egregious pricing schemes does not surprise me one bit.
Avoid like the plague.
His 18 items cost 8 dollars. A kit generally has 28 items for 5. A stuff pack often has 70-ish for 10, AND a gameplay feature.
The lion, the witch, and the audacity to sell a wardrobe for 3x the price of EA content.
oh please noooo I have better CC LOL
You do realize that “better” is subjective right? And many of the best cc creators are a part of the maker program? yall are just broke. Say that. Because this set looks incredible.
Are they even vetting this pixelated crap?
This set is cute AF. Cut the crap.
Lol
I’m really enjoying the Maker Packs it’s a great way to safely download new CC’s without any issues since everything is already integrated into the game.
That said, I’m having a hard time actually finding the Maker’s Kit items in-game. There’s no paintbrush icon or filter option in Build/Buy or CAS to easily locate newly downloaded content so it ends up feeling like a scavenger hunt and I still haven’t found everything.
For example, I downloaded a pack that included a clock but it wasn’t even listed under the clock category. Instead, it showed up under Decorative, which was confusing and didn’t really make sense.
Ignore the people downvoting your comment just because you are enjoying the Maker Packs. They probably have nothing better to do with their lives.
As for your concern about not being able to find Maker Pack items, there is in fact a Maker Pack filter you can click on to filter items to all Maker Pack items.
I personally love Maker packs. You’re not alone and don’t let the work activists make you think you are! 🙂
On continue dans l’arnaque… Ce Racketplace est une horreur. Ça ne sera plus jamais les prix pratiqués avant pour des kits, on se fera forcément arnaquer.
I dont think any these maker packs shown in this article are interesting.I guess there realesing two new maker packs a week.
What about the console players we can’t get anything
Marketplace is coming to console in a few months.
Trash just like marketplace. Support the creators directly, not EA.
