Can you explain to me how expanding a life simulation game to include things relevant to peoples lives makes it an ‘inclusive clusterhug’? Your normal is not everyone else’s normal.

While there is nothing bad about any changes they’ve made, I think it’s fair to question why now when it’s trendy and not before (and as OP stated are they trying TOO hard). Beyond that, are they using this to just breathe life into a game that many felt had fundamental flaws just to buy time/make extra money from it. Personally, I like that they seem to be trying to change some aspects of gameplay as well so hopefully it’s not that cynical and again whatever the reason it’s a good thing.

ah, please don't get me wrong, i agree with you - but when inclusiveness becomes a political game, that's when lines should be drawn. and EA as a corporation is nothing but crossed lines.

Can you give examples of ‘political’ aspects they added in the game?

I personally applaud the added inclusivity (I mean, the more options, the better, right?), but HATE the overall direction EA is taking the franchise (i.e kits, pricing, game limitations, etc). They’re polishing a turd at this point.

There’s a lot of hints in the confetti!

What are your predictions?

Party for Love = Gay pride themed
Fierce designs = exotic animal prints (as seen in confettis)

Looks more wedding day themed. In the confetti it looks like two joined rings and then another one is a ring surrounding a three later cake.

Looks more wedding day themed. In the confetti it looks like two joined rings and then another one is a ring surrounding a three later cake both with hearts. The wedding feature in game needs more to it especially since it’s suppose to be part of a life simulation and part of it (caterers) can be lackluster. It could be a wedding planner similar to the interior design career. They had a pack idea for a rustic wedding with some really nice items. We could use some items to refresh weddings. Maybe they’ll add a chemistry system as well since they do sometimes add a free base game update that corresponds to packs which would benefit if they’re going to introduce a wedding planner (or a matchmaker). .

I’m curious what new items of food they’re going to introduce. Hopefully it’s from places that haven’t gotten representation in the game.

Just what we needed, 2 brand new kits where they sell off more of other people’s cultural styles for $5 a pop…
