The Sims Team reveals a new The Sims 4 Marketplace launch!
EA and Maxis have just annouced a brand new The Sims 4 Coach Capsule Collection for The Sims 4 Marketplace. Releasing for free for Console and PC Players on July 28th, 2026. Continuing the collaboration and drop that was previously released as a free in-game update in January 2026.
The Coach Repurposed Capsule Collection contains new real-life brand inspired clothing created for the world of The Sims 4. Along with it is the extra reveal and blog information on The Sims 4 Music Den Kit, which comes out this week on July 23rd.

I’m surprised but I like these new clothes honestly. And I like the fact that we’re able to choose if we want them in our games or not, unlike the precedent drop — though it’s probably to get some trafic to the marketplace, which, ugh. Still not liking it.
I kinda want the new kit as well, but I don’t want the free moola… Might wait until that “offer” pass to decide if I’ll get it tbh.
They really want to pump up those marketplace numbers, don’t they? Just patch the clothes in…
Wish they would have made all the previous branded content optional or at least given us a way to uninstall them now.
Why Coach? The average person cannot afford Coach! Most cannot even afford meat right now. At over $7 a pound. And those items suck! A music den? We can already make those without a kit. Sims 4 players wanted a band kit! I am not excited about these ones at all!
Stop with Marketplace! They could do that via Express Delivery! Nobody wants to use your market, EA. Free stuff won’t change it.

I’m personally kind of reluctant to get it even if it is free. I just don’t want to receive anything EA gives anymore, with this stupid buyout. I feel wrong supporting them at all now, with or without money.

The clothing kit is fine, even if it is really just a subtle way to push the marketplace – but the music kit infuriates me. No new instruments, no new gameplay – just another “thing you could already make”, like the greenhouse kit. I really liked the principle of kits, as a way to add a little gameplay/ content/ something to freshen the game for those who can’t justify the cost of a pack – but they’re increasingly just becoming reskinned objects sold under a shallow concept, or items cut out of packs and bundled to rinse an extra bit of cash out of the player. It’s so see through, I honestly don’t know how they dare!
