The Sims 4 Jungle Adventure: Important Facts from the latest Temple Livestream

The Sims Team hosted another livestream for The Sims 4 Jungle Adventure Game Pack, showcasing some of the features and gameplay in the temple that can be found in Selvadorada. Here are all the important facts that we’ve collected from the livestream:

  • The Temple is full of excavation sites, devices, portals and more!
  • Near the entrance of the temple there’s an object where you can make offerings in order to enter the temple. You need to examine the object to help determine which offering will help you open up the entrance.
  • Your Sim can get punished for using a wrong activation interaction.
  • Trying to go through the locked portal will have your Sim bounce back from the force field.
  • Assembling certain glyphs will help you open up the portal.
  • One of the punishments for choosing a wrong option to open up the portal is having your Sim catch on fire.
  • The solution to open up the gate to the temple is randomized each time you visit it.
  • Traps and devices are also randomly generated each time you visit the temple.
  • Trying to pass through a portal with an electric field will have your Sim electrocuted.
  • The temple might bless you for opening up the gate. There’s a blessing of glorious taste which will make any food taste good for your Sim – even the ones that are poorly prepared.
  • Trying to pass through a portal baricated with poison gas will poison your Sim with the poison gas. You might want to search for an antidote otherwise your Sim will get worse.
  • Sims with the Archaeology Skill can study various glyphs found in the temple that will help them build their skill.
  • You might find skeletons randomly wandering around the temple.
  • There’s a blessing of the ancients which helps make your Sim happy and share your happiness with others as well.
  • Archaeology skill can help you examine certain mechanisms, and with higher skill you have a better chance of figuring out what each mechanism does.
  • You can bring a tent from The Sims 4 Outdoor Retreat Game Pack and camp inside temples.
  • You can bring toddlers and pets with you to explore the temple.
  • There’s a Tree of Emotions outside the temple. There are all sorts of berries that you can harvest from this tree that will help you put your Sim in a certain mood. For example, the Museberries will get your Sim inspired.
  • There are some mechanisms which require a certain emotional state for you to activate them. For example, stepping onto plates with Energy, Inspiration, Confidence and Flirtiness.
  • After finishing with temple exploration you should try to find some other treasures as well because the entire temple will reset after you leave it.
  • Sims can die from exploring the temple – depending on which trap they’ve been caught on and if you decide to take any action to save them from potential death.

Patch Notes

Update: 2/22/2018 – PC 1.40.61.1020 / Mac 1.40.61.1220

Hey Simmers,

It’s almost time to pack the bags, grab the bug spray, and journey to the temples in search of adventure! In the meantime, we’ve used a bit of the bug spray ourselves to squash a few…

So… what’s new?
There is a new toddler bed, The Littlest Big Bed, now available for all in the catalog. And, for the adventurous Simmer, you can place this bed into your inventory, allowing you to be ready to put your toddler to sleep at a moment’s notice.

We’ve also added some new traits and powered an old one.

  • Never Weary has been improved. It now actually provides the full benefit of the word “never”.
  • Seldom Sleepy is a new trait for Sims that like to sleep, but just don’t want to sleep that often.
  • Needs No One, Forever Fresh, and Forever Full, are all new and improved versions of their counterparts (Independent, Antiseptic, and Hardly Hungry).

And on to… the General Issues

  • Toddlers can now sleep in tents.
    • Apologies to the parents that were using that as an excuse to find peace in the woods.
  • Costume selections for the Incognito Costume Party now include more possible selections.
  • Computers will no longer disappear when a Sim attempts to use the “Extract Fossil” interaction.
    • Yep, there was a chance the computer would fade out of existence.
  • Solid doors will no longer let light pass through them.
  • We addressed an issue with some of the roof patterns appearing stretched when placed on the newer roof types.
  • Vegetable Casserole will now be referred to as Vegetable Casserole, and not Tofu Casserole.
    • Because Tofu are friends, not food.
  • The Over-Achiever achievement will now complete with any 5 Aspirations.
  • We fixed an issue with cfHair_BraidedPonyTail that was causing seam lines to appear on the face and neck of female children.
    • It was quite unseemly.
  • Sims will be less likely to auto-choose a tent to nap within when their energy is low.
    • Basically, they were always choosing a tent regardless of what other sleeping options were present.

Get To Work

  • Baking recipes that called for Blueberries, have been updated to now ask for Blackberries… since there aren’t any blueberries…
  • Detectives will no longer route to and open the wrong cell after choosing to lock a criminal in their cell. The changes made now require that…
    • The player clicks on a cell and chooses the criminal to lock away.
    • And the player clicks on the criminal in order to release them.

City Living

  • The yfBottom_EP03SkinnyJeans are now sorted in the Skin Tight category.
  • Sims will now be more likely to purchase items from the craft sales table during a yard sale.
  • We fixed a crash that could occur if a yard sale was started after the Sim chose to initiate a vacation.

Cats & Dogs

  • We fixed an issue that could cause pets placed from the Gallery to have missing textures once in game.
  • Pets in labor will no longer attempt to stand upright, causing them to distort in their portrait images.
    • It was scary… animal rights groups were greatly concerned.

Dine Out

  • Customers will now appropriately leave the restaurant if the Host Sim has left the lot.
    • You’re still here? It’s over. Go home. Go.

Vampires

  • Vampires will no longer get burned by the sun when underground.
  • The Dead Hawthorn Tree can now be placed above basements.
  • Vampire offspring relationship status will no longer be forgotten as a result of the Vampire Sim not having built any relationship with their offspring before turning them.
    • It’s true. I mean, how often do you get to know your sire, prior to being bitten? Usually it’s a quick bite on the way to the office… just a little snack before bedtime… never really any time to ask the important questions.
  • As a result of night starting earlier in Windenburg, vampires can now go out earlier, and not get burned, in Windenburg too!
  • Facial details for a vampire sim’s dark form should no longer reset to their default settings after initially editing and then re-entering Create a Sim.
  • Spider webs, cracks, holes in the wall, and various other wall decals will no longer charge you 5 Simoleons for turning your residence into a dump…
    • …and by dump, I mean a properly decorated abode eliciting a specific mood or feeling as a result of the addition of eclectic wall decals.
  • For purposes of recipes that request a fruit, it should be noted that garlic is not a fruit.
  • Vlad now has level 15 Vampire Lore.
    • As the writer of this release note, it should be noted that I disagree with this change on the grounds that as a human, I would say my human lore is pretty low. I’m sure Vlad was there for all of vampiric history, but was he really aware of it all… I think a solid 11 or 12 lore tops. But we can save the debate for another time.

Parenthood

  • Changing outfits will no longer remove a teens acne.
    • Sorry teens.
  • The yfTop_GP05JacketSporty no longer causes a strong shadow to appear along the waist line when paired with various shorts in Create a Sim.
  • Sims with maxed manners will no longer queue up wash dishes repeatedly.
    • Dang it… does this mean I have to wash my own dishes now?

Thank you kindly for your time, your feedback, and your attention,
SimGuruGnome

Via TheSims.com!

Hey there, Simmers!

The Sims 4 Jungle Adventure* comes out swinging February 27, and this game pack will introduce your Sims to an entirely new cultural destination: Selvadorada. With so much to explore, think of us as your tour guide with a little advice on how to get the most out of a day in the jungle.

First, head to Puerto Lllamante, the local marketplace that offers survival gear, trinkets, photo ops, and more to get your Sims ready for their trip. Some items can keep your Sims safe on their journey, like spider repellent and poison antidote. Plus, level up your Selvadoradian Culture skill to get secret adventure gear, which will help Sims on their travels. Okay, you’re now ready to explore. Let’s go!

Hold up. Roaring falls. Chirping birds. Wow, this gorgeous landscape deserves a second look! Before diving into any potential mayhem, take a moment for your Sims to appreciate how lush and green Selvadorada truly is. It’s no wonder they call this place a natural, well, wonder.

The Sims Blog: A Day in the Life in The Sims 4 Jungle Adventure

All right, squad, moving on! Once you get your bearings, you can search to find the Omiscan Temple. And once you do, your Sims can find riches beyond their wildest dreams! But, not so fast. There are lots of traps to look out for, and some are even deadly. Solving them will help your Sims go deeper into the temple, where there are surprises at every turn. Make sure to return to the Secret Temple several times. Because it has magical powers, each time your Sims visit, it’s different. Whoa.

How’d they do that? When you get back to base camp, beef up your Archeology skill when you examine all the goods you’ve collected. You can discover artifacts, mystical relics, and crystals. Your Sims can even take these home as mementos (or proof!) of their wild adventures.

After all that exploring, your Sims will need to blow off some steam! Head to the cantina to celebrate your courageous day and get to the know the locals, and learn their traditions. Dance the night away with some spicy moves, and raise a glass to your Jungle Adventure!

Ready to gear up for this all-new experience? We can’t wait to see your discoveries in The Sims 4 Jungle Adventure when it releases worldwide on PC and Mac February 27, 2018.

21 Features We Love Playing With in The Sims 4 Base Game

6

It’s no secret that The Sims 4 had a bit of a rocky launch back in 2014. Players were rightfully upset about many glaring omissions that they felt were essential to the core experience of The Sims, like toddlers, ghosts, basements, pools, and many other big features that just weren’t in the game at launch.

With all the controversy surrounding what wasn’t in the game, it was easy to overlook nearly two dozen brand new, never-before-seen careers, skills, activities, and collections that launched with the base game.

Now that many of our most-wanted features have been patched into the game for free (and better than ever), let’s take a look back and appreciate some of The Sims 4‘s coolest new features that made it stand out from its predecessors.

Careers

21 Features We Love Playing With in The Sims 4 Base GameTech Guru

The Tech Guru career is tied to the brand new Programming and Video Gaming skills. For the first time ever in Sims history, your Sims can make a career out of playing their favourite video games (and coding them, too)! The E-Sports Gamer and Start Up Entrepreneur branches let your Sim choose between two focuses; will they strive for Internet gaming fame or get involved in the booming tech industry?

Astronaut

While your Sims could be an astronaut if they reached the top of the Military career track in The Sims 3, blasting off into the stars was never its own career until now. Work your way up the space traveling ranks until you get to choose between two branches; Space Ranger or Interstellar Smuggler. Will your Sim devote themselves to protecting the galaxy from evil or will they become an intergalactic pirate?

Secret Agent

Ever dreamed of being the next James Bond? Well now your Sims can be in The Sims 4! Or maybe they prefer to be the villain of your epic spy story. The Diamond Agent and Villain branches of the Secret Agent career let your Sims choose between fighting for good or allowing the temptations of corruption to turn them down a path of villainy.

Skills

21 Features We Love Playing With in The Sims 4 Base GameComedy

Sure, you might have had a Sim with a good sense of humour in the past, but were they master comedians? Not before The Sims 4, they weren’t! The comedy skill is a brand new addition to The Sims franchise. It goes hand-in-hand with the Comedian career branch of the Entertainer career. Building the Comedy skill allows your Sim to tell better and more elaborate jokes at the microphone and write their own comedy routines!

Gourmet Cooking

Gourmet Cooking is a brand new skill that allows your Sim to truly refine their culinary talents. Unsurprisingly, it compliments the Culinary career. Raise your Sim’s Cooking skill to level 5 to unlock the Gourmet Cooking skill and start serving up some of the most exquisite dishes that are typically served in five-star restaurants by award-winning chefs. Bon appetit, mes amis!

Mischief

Some Sims just want to watch the world burn. The Mischief skill is for them. This skill compliments the Criminal career. Build this skill by performing Mischief interactions on other Sims. Building the Mischief skill allows your Sim to perform more Mischief interactions, sabotage objects, and even purchase a voodoo doll to mess around with the emotions of other Sims.

Programming

With the all-new Programming skill, your Sims can make a living doing all kinds of activities related to the computer. While it’s tied to the Tech Guru career, your Sims can easily make a living off this skill at home by doing freelance programming work, hacking corporations, and creating video games and viruses. Building the Video Gaming skill along with the Programming skill will allow your Sims to mod all their favourite games.

For a full guide to the Programming skill, check out our article, A Day in the Life of a Programmer!

Rocket Science

Rocket Science is of course tied to the Astronaut career but your Sims don’t need to be an astronaut to explore space. Purchase the Steampunk Flyamajig in Buy Mode and start building your very own rocket in your backyard! Building and upgrading your homemade rocket will build the Rocket Science skill, allowing your Sim to traverse the stars safely and build and upgrade faster. Lots of collectibles can only be found in space, so what are you waiting for? Shoot for the moon!

Video Gaming

Ever wanted to play video games for a living? Now you can in The Sims 4! The Video Gaming skill is tied to the Tech Guru career but your Sims can make a comfortable living at home from this skill. Build the Video Gaming skill by, you guessed it, playing video games. Building this skill will allow your Sims to play more games and enter pro gaming tournaments to win prize money.

Activities

21 Features We Love Playing With in The Sims 4 Base GameSpace Exploration

Space exploration is an all new addition to the franchise. It’s tied to the Rocket Science skill. If you purchase a rocket pad, your Sims can build their own functional rocket ship and blast off into space for a wide variety of exciting choose-your-own-adventure style expeditions. Your Sims will often bring back collectibles and other goodies from their intergalactic travels. Make sure your rocket has a few upgrades or you might find yourself crash landing back on earth in a pile of rubble!

Woodworking

The Handiness skill is not new to The Sims, but the woodworking table is. While Sims could create sculptures in previous games, the woodworking aspect of The Sims 4 is in a league all its own. Not only can your Sims carve a variety of decorative sculptures to sell or display around their home, but they can also build their own furniture. From mirrors to garden planters to tables, chairs, wall hangings, and even a bathtub and toilet, your Sims can be truly self-sufficient and build themselves their own house.

For a full guide on woodworking, check out our article, The Sims 4 Tutorial: All About Woodworking!

Frog Breeding

Frogs are a new collectible in The Sims 4, but collecting them is only a small part of the fun. The dedicated frog enthusiast can breed their frogs to create new types of frogs for their collection. Simply have two frogs in your Sim’s inventory, click on one of them and select Breed Frog With… to breed your very own frogs! The frog breeding system is very in-depth. You’ll have to carefully select frogs with the right combinations of genes to get those rare breeds.

Collections

21 Features We Love Playing With in The Sims 4 Base GameFrogs

Frogs are a brand new collection in the franchise. There are a total of 25 frogs to collect. All frogs can be caught out in the world but it’s easier to get the rare ones by carefully selecting and breeding your frogs with particular gene combinations to get the one you want.

Space Rocks

Space rocks can only be found by exploring space in a rocket ship, so start building and upgrading to hone your Rocket Science skill! Space rocks can be tricky to find, but luckily, there are only four of them, so it’s not an impossible task.

Aliens

There are a total of 10 aliens to find out in space! Blast off in your rocket ship and explore as much as you can to bring home both live and preserved aliens to decorate your home with. Or put them in the front yard and creep out the neighbours with them. It’s your world. Your Sims are just living in it.

Elements

Elements can be found by sending rocks and crystals to the Geo Society. They’ll extract the elements and send them back to you in the mail. There are 15 elements to collect. You can even display them in their own nifty periodic chart found in Buy Mode!

Fossils

Fossils can be dug out of rocks around the world. There are 15 fossils to collect in all. Click on a limestone deposit in your Sim’s inventory to extract the fossil inside, but beware! There’s always a chance you could break the fossil, instead.

Microscope Prints

Microscope prints make a gorgeous addition to any Sim’s home. Obtain them by using the microscope. There are 12 microscope prints to collect. Your Sim has a much better chance of finding rare microscope prints if they examine slides taken from plant, fossil, or crystal samples.

MySims Trophies

MySims Trophies are the perfect collectible for any geek or child Sim. There are 20 of them and they can be found inside capsules dug up from rocks around the world. Using a treasure map to dig up a rock guarantees a capsule with a MySims Trophy inside!

Postcards

If your Sim is more of a homebody, they can get a pen pal on the computer and write letters to them to receive postcards back in the mail. These postcards come from all over the Sim world and can be proudly displayed on their very own corkboard found in Buy Mode. There are 14 postcards to collect in all.

Space Prints

Just like Microscope Prints, the Space Prints provide some beautiful art to display in your Sim’s home. There are 15 space prints to collect and you can find them by using the observatory.

With so much to learn, explore, and collect in The Sims 4 base game, it’s no wonder The Sims 4 is enjoying such a long, prosperous lifespan.

The Sims Mobile Puzzle Hunt

0

The Sims Mobile Team gave us some very mysterious puzzle pieces to share for the next few days. I only received a few of them so even I don’t know what they’ll ultimately reveal.

I also heard that there are going to be a lot more pieces scattered around Twitter in the next few days and weeks, which is why this post is going to be regularly updated with all the latest puzzle pieces as they pop out on Twitter.

Stick around as more gets revealed!

The Sims 4 Parenthood Challenge

The Sims 4 Parenthood ChallengeObjective

You must raise a Sim from a baby to a young adult and max out all five character values without ever taking control of the child. It is solely the responsibility of the parents to guide the child’s character values. The parents will need to raise the Parenting skill in order to influence their child to perform character-building actions and scold/punish them appropriately for doing things that lower character values.

Getting Started

  • Create two young adult Sims in CAS. The gender customization and occult type of these Sims do not matter. These Sims can have any appearance, walk style, voice, traits, and aspirations you want. You may choose to make these Sims married in CAS or not, it’s entirely up to you. You may use CC on your Sims. You may use Sims from the Gallery as long as they are both young adults.
  • If Cats & Dogs is installed, you can add pets to the household, but you may want to limit it to one or two. Your Sims should be primarily focused on their child during the challenge.
  • Move your household into any lot in any world that they can afford. These can be premade Maxis homes, a house you built yourself, or a house downloaded from the Gallery as long as your Sims can afford it with their starting funds.
  • Once your household is moved in and set up the way you like, you must add a baby to the household either through pregnancy or adoption. The gender of the baby does not matter. Babies cannot gain character values, but the time spent caring for the baby will help your parent Sims get a head start on their Parenting skill. If you opt to add a child to the home through pregnancy, reading Parenting books during the pregnancy will give your parent Sims additional time to build the Parenting skill.

Challenge Rules

Game Settings and Third Party Content

  • Lifespans must be set to Normal with aging turned on for your active household.
  • Mods that give you an unfair advantage over other players are not allowed. This is left up to your own judgment, but to give an example, a mod that adds snow or fall colours to your game is fine because it’s a cosmetic change that does not affect gameplay. A mod that gives all beds max energy gain or any other mod that makes it easier to manage your Sims’ emotions and motives is not allowed because these mods make the game easier for you. Mods that give you more money in any way, shape, or form are not allowed, either.
  • CC that does not affect gameplay is allowed.

Cheats and Game Restarts

  • NO CHEATING! Unless otherwise stated in this section, all cheats are strictly prohibited. No money cheats. No motive cheats. No emotion cheats. No character value cheats. No cheats that affect school or career performance in any way. No. Cheating. Period.
  • The bb.moveobjects on cheat may be used for creative building purposes.
  • The resetsim cheat may be used ONLY when your Sim is stuck or otherwise glitched in a manner which makes you unable to control them. You cannot use it whenever your Sim does something you don’t like.
  • No restarting the game to bypass unfortunate events. Your Sim died in a fire while cooking? Lost their job? Got eaten by a cowplant? Oh well, too bad. Roll with the punches and continue.
  • In the case of glitches or other technical issues that cause you to lose significant progress, you may use whatever cheats and mods necessary to get back to where you were before you lost your data.

Birthdays and Aging

  • Your Sims’ baby cannot be aged up until you get a notification saying that today is their birthday.
  • No Sims in your household can be aged up until it is their birthday.
  • Pets cannot be fed age up or age down treats. They must be allowed to age naturally just like your Sims.
  • You cannot resurrect dead Sims or pets. You cannot invite ghosts into the household. Once a Sim or a pet is gone, they’re gone.
  • You must randomise the traits and aspirations of the child as they grow up. I recommend Pinstar’s Random Trait Generator because the child has a chance of inheriting the traits of their parents, but createarandomsim.com is fine to use as well.

Live Mode

  • Your parent Sims can make money however you choose in order to provide for their child. They can stay at home and make money from one of the skills or they can get a job from the phone. You may delegate child raising duties as you wish. One Sim can stay home to care for the child while the other Sim works or they can both work or both stay home. The parenting dynamic is up to you.
  • You may NEVER control the child. The child must rely solely on their parents to nurture their character values and needs. You may click on the child to look at their information but you can never assign any tasks to the child or cancel any of their actions. If you want the child to do something, you must influence them to do it through a parent.
  • Your Sims are free to do whatever you want with their lives as long as you are not controlling the child. Other than raising the child’s character values without controlling the child, the rest of the challenge is very open-ended.

Other Add-On Packs

  • You may use any features and objects that come with any other add-on packs you have installed. I expect this rule to remain the same for all future packs but if it changes, it will be clarified in this section.
  • Your child can do any activity from any add-on pack that affects character values as long as you are not directing them to do these activities. For example, they can take care of pets (Cats & Dogs) and do laundry (Laundry Day Stuff) to raise the Responsibility value, but only if it’s done autonomously or if they’ve been asked to do it by a parent.

NPCs

  • You may hire any NPCs your Sims may want or need, including the nanny and butler (from Vintage Glamour).

Completing the Challenge

  • The challenge ends as soon as the baby grows into a young adult.
  • If you played using the point system, refer to the points section to see how well your parent Sims did with raising their child. Every positive character value trait adds points while every negative character value trait deducts points. There are other ways to gain or lose points as well.
  • If you did not play using a point system, just raising a child from a baby to a young adult without any negative character value traits is technically a win, but you did well if the child has grown up with at least 3 positive character value traits.
  • You fail the challenge if your child dies before their young adult birthday or if they are taken away by social services.
  • You fail the challenge if you controlled the child even once during the challenge, even accidentally.
  • You fail the challenge if the child grows up with all five negative character value traits.

Points System

If tracking points feels tedious to you, you do not have to play with the points system at all. It’s just for hardcore players who like to achieve a perfect score in their games. Playing for points is completely optional. Disregard the points entirely if that makes the challenge more fun for you.

TOTAL: 100 points

10 points for every positive character value trait gained at young adulthood
* 10 points for gaining the Top-Notch Toddler trait at childhood
* 5 points for gaining the Happy Toddler trait at childhood
1 point for each childhood aspiration completed
1 point for each childhood skill maxed out
10 points for finishing elementary school with an A grade
10 points for finishing high school with an A grade
5 points for each parent that maxes out the Parenting skill
1 point for each parent that is Good Friends or BFFs with their child at young adulthood

-10 points for every negative character value trait gained at young adulthood
-10 points for a D or lower grade in elementary school
-10 points for a D or lower grade in high school
-1 point for each parent that gains a negative relationship title with their child at young adulthood
-1 point for every tantrum/emotional outburst
-1 point every time the child resists discipline or influence
-5 points every time you get a warning about your child being taken away

* These points do not stack. You do not get 15 points if you got the Top-Notch Toddler trait. It’s one or the other.

Handicaps

Handicaps are disadvantages that make the challenge harder. You can play with all of these handicaps, only some of them, or none at all. Playing with a handicap gives you point boosts, however, so there is a reward for making things harder on yourself. Depending on how well you play the challenge with these handicaps, it’s possible to finish with more than 100 points.

Play with a single parent household (15 points)
Play with more than one child that you do not control (*2 points per extra child)
Play without either parent working in a traditional career (5 points)
Play with pets (2 points per pet)
Play without using satisfaction rewards (5 points)

* Any extra children only provide the 2-point handicap boost. They cannot earn points for the rest of the challenge but must remain uncontrollable, just like your main child.

The Sims Mobile is a true Free-To-Play Experience

The Sims Mobile’s announcement back in May 2017 left many people wondering if the game truly is a free-to-play mobile game. The concerns about a new Sims game joining the mobile family were justified, considering that The Sims FreePlay, even though it has some great moments, is slow in progressing through the game and very, very financially demanding. If you haven’t played The Sims FreePlay one of the scariest thing about it is opening up the game and finding out the fact that you need actual 5 dollars to adopt a toddler to your household.

The Sims Mobile went through a lot of changes since the first soft launch in May 2017 but the formula of it remains the same: play the game to progress or cheat your way through the game by using real life money. I’ve never encountered a paywall in The Sims Mobile and I’ve been playing the game for months. Each feature is free to be used and, even though some are locked with certain XP levels, they’ll only push you and your Sims to achieve their goals. There are a few things in The Sims Mobile, such as the Uptown Chic CAS Pack which require real money ($12.50). However, the game won’t really force you to buy the pack and you’ll never encounter those items in CAS except for the shoes which are available for 80 SimCash. There are more than enough Create A Sim assets that you can purchase for Simoleons or SimCash (or unlock as you progress in the game) that you won’t even need the Uptown Chic Pack. Same thing goes for Build Mode.

SimCash, the biggest currency there is in The Sims Mobile is extremely easy to earn, which isn’t really a case in The Sims FreePlay. Completing quests, stories and so much more will have your SimCash wallet full in no time without having to spend a dime.

Each step that you make in The Sims Mobile is being rewarded – whether it’s with Simoleons, SimCash, cupcakes that will fully boost your energy or tickets that are required for new CAS and Build items. In just a few hours I managed to rake up more than 30 SimCash just by completing my Career and Social Stories. Completing one chapter is rewarded with 3 SimCash while completing the whole story is rewarded with 7 SimCash. Multiply that with 4 Sims in your household and in a matter of few days / weeks you’ll be able to afford items and tickets that you need for your household.

I’ve been playing The Sims Mobile for a few months now and I can honestly say that I’ve never been tempted to use my credit card and spend real money. Not because I didn’t want to, but because achieving things in the game gave me a much bigger pleasure than cheating my way through it with shortcuts which I’m sure wouldn’t bring much satisfaction.

The Sims Mobile is currently soft launched in a few countries and will be available worldwide in the next few weeks.
