COMMUNITY POLL: Your thoughts on The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories

weddingpollfeatured

What is your satisfaction with the overall release, promotion and the current state of The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories?

The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories Game Pack had hit the online shelves on February 23rd, 2022. This is the 11th Game Pack in The Sims 4 Series that allows for players to throw weddings through numerous new activities and features. This Game Pack also offers a whole new World – Tartosa, new items in Create A Sim and Build Mode and other smaller features along the side.

The Game Pack had been met with an unstable release on day 1 where most of the primary aspects and features of the Game Pack simply didn’t work or weren’t functioning as they were supposed to. A few days after the release of the Game Pack EA had released a statement saying that they are already working on fixing and improving the experience of My Wedding Stories, which we should expect later in March 2022.

We are doing a Community Poll to see your reactions, expectations and thoughts on the release of this Game Pack. Considering that some of the aspects of this Poll requires knowledge about the pack (and I’m sure some of you haven’t gotten the Pack) we want to make sure you have the knowledge first.

Down below are article links and information that you need to know beforehand, just to make sure that this Community Poll is as accurate as possible:

Ready? Let’s go!

Please note that this is a Community Poll. This Poll is not affiliated with or endorsed by EA or Maxis in any way.

I mainly bought this pack for the world! The other features don’t seem that much interesting to me!

I like Tartosa. However, there’s barely any new build items in the pack, and I like building my worlds to fit with the pack they released with. The lack of build items makes it hard for me to build houses that makes me feel like Tartosa is its own world. I can’t help but wonder why *this* pack came with a new world, when there’s barely anything new to fill it with.

Tartosa is pretty, and I might have liked it as a vacation destination, but I can’t support these broken packs anymore. I’m not entirely sure I’ll be buying ANY future Sims content after THIS disastrous release.

I was so excited for this pack until everything went wrong. Even with the upcoming fixes, there’s bound to still be things that don’t work properly which really sucks. This pack had so much potential and yet here we are.

I don’t plan to buy anything from sims 4 anymore (haven’t purchased in 2 years)… mainly because I got bored with the gameplay. This recent fiasco just confirmed my suspicions so I have no regrets. As of now I only use build mode but even then my time spent in-game is like less than one or two hours on average. EA needs to go back to the drawing board & give us a game that actually challenges you (similar to the sims 2 & 3). I’m tired of the repetitive animations & reused/cloned furniture they think no one notices (there’s a bunch of chairs & kitchen cabinets that are duplicated from prior packs). Also give us builders the ability to make attic spaces with proper lighting, I’m still waiting on curved & alcove ceilings. Feels like wishful thinking at this point.
