SimGuruBChick mentioned on The Sims Forums that Free Content Updates for The Sims 4 will no longer be announced in advance like they were in October when Ghosts, Pools and new Careers were announced simultaneously.
This means that The Sims Team can surprise you anytime with free new content!
We announce Outdoor Retreat was coming back in December but I can understand that not everyone may have seen that. With regard to future plans, we can’t really comment on specifics at this time. What I can tell you is that free content updates will not get announced in advance. Paid content updates, such as Game Packs and Expansion Packs will be announced in advance.
