The Sims FreePlay: SimTown Express Quest Walkthrough

The Sims FreePlay is introducing a brand new Downtown area that comes with a SimTown Hospital, a new Job Proffession lot where you get to control your Sims as they progress through their career!

Your journey towards the Downtown area of SimTown begins by building the SimTown Express Train Station.

As you can see down below, you’ll need 250,000 Simoleons (this value may vary depending on your Town Value), 24 hours and 12 Sims in your SimTown.

After you finish building the SimTown Express, you’ll unlock the SimTown Express Quest which, after finished, will let you travel to the Downtown area.

SimTown Express Quest

The SimTown Express Quest does not expire, BUT, if you finish it in 5 days you’ll unlock the Toddler outfit shown below:

Quest missions:

• Call Train Company using any phone on your lot (1 min)
• Meet Thomas, the Tiny Conductor at any home lot. (15 mins)

This Toddler can be found on any home lot roaming around!

• Ask Thomas about safety lessons (2 hrs 15 mins)
• Read a Book About Trains (8 hrs 30 mins)
• Ask Thomas for Safety Lesson 1 (5 mins)
• Demonstrate single seating on any seat (11 hrs 30 mins)
• Ask Thomas for Safety Lesson 2 (5 mins)
• Send a Sim to the Park
• Watch the train demonstration (14 hrs 45 mins)

• Ask Thomas for Safety Lesson 3 (5 mins)
• Stand behind the yellow line on your lot (16 hrs 45 mins)

• Search for the Train Key under any bed (1 hr 50 mins)
• Apologize to Thomas (6 hrs 50 mins)
• Bake Cookies for Thomas (1 min)
• Ask Thomas for last Safety Lesson (5 mins)
• Practice holding on – have a Sim hug and hold onto Thomas (1 day)
• Guess Thomas’ age (1 hr 15 mins)

• Travel on the SimTown express – go to the SimTown map and touch the icon for the SimTown Express to travel to the new Downtown area!

Congratulations – you have finished your SimTown Express Quest!

Rewards

For completing the SimTown Express in time you unlock the toddler train conductor outfit, while the overall reward for completing this quest is the unlocked Downtown area which you can access any time from now on!

The Downtown Area

The Downtown area functions in a similar way like the Mystery Island. You can travel to it instantly by clicking the subway icon in the menu or by clicking the subway icon in SimTown’s map view.

This Area only comes with the SimTown Express and the Hospital Lot, but just like the previous 2 areas, we should expect this area to keep expanding as well.
