The Sims 3 Loading Screens Appreciation Post

I remember back in the day when The Sims 3 Series was still active and my excitement for the release of each Expansion Pack / Stuff Pack for the game. Believe it or not, one of the biggest things that excited me were the new loading screens that came with each new pack. They were often bright, colorful and very often full of interesting animations.

That’s one of the things I miss in The Sims 4. I know it’s a small thing but it made every pack that was released stand out.

For those who weren’t really active during The Sims 3 days, who haven’t managed to play older packs after launch or just want to go back to this interesting loading screen journey, here are all 21 loading screens that have been made for The Sims 3, including Base Game, Expansion Packs and Stuff Packs.

Loading screens shown down below are sorted by the release date of each game.

  • Well, they had to make the loading screens visually appealing because chances were that you were going to see that screen for long stretches of time.

    • No, this was just the loading screen at the beginning which lasted about 2 mins (just like the starting of TS4)

The longer loading screens always showed a picture of the world it would load and not all this graphically pleasing loading screen.
