SimGuruKate has just announced that The Sims Team will be pushing out a hot fix update for The Sims 4 on PC and Mac to address some of the bugs and issues that were added from the major November update.
Some of the issues that you can expect to be fixed are the CAS aging issue, disappearing Father Winter babies and more that should be addressed in a few. Stay tuned for the latest information when the update goes live!
SimFam, I have some good news! We have a small patch coming today that will fix a number of key bugs introduced in last week’s patch, including the CAS aging issue, and the disappearing Father Winter babies. Keep an eye out and be sure to patch your game when it arrives.

SimGuruNick also responded saying that Mods / CC won’t automatically be disabled with this update. However, it’s still advised to remove the mods before applying the upcoming update.
Actually this is a minor patch so your mods/CC will NOT be automatically disabled. That being said, I'd still try removing mods/CC as your first troubleshooting step if you encounter any issues, thanks 🙂
