During the November Maxis Monthly livestream, it was revealed that The Sims team is creating another Community Voted Stuff Pack. SimGuruNinja and SimGuruDana explained the overall timeline for this Community voted Stuff Pack but also gave us a glimpse of the themes & gameplay features that we, as a community can vote for from 18th November 2019!
After this first voting block there will be four more voting periods spaced out over the next few months.
Important: Make sure you have surveys enabled in game! To do this simply go into your Game Options > Other > Enable in-game surveys.
As for the Themes and Gameplay features, there are five different ones to chose from. When voting goes live we will see more information about each of the five themes but take a look at the gallery below for an overview of what each theme is.

I’m a sensitive meaning I can see things… I would definitely feel more included. My sim I based on me is always scared of ghosts… Bruh. Happy Haunts wins for me. Second choice might be science but I feel like that could possibly be an update for Get to Work.
With Happy Haunts I’m hoping the Haunted House lot trait would be more of like a poltergeist kinda haunted because we already have one that just makes ghosts appear. I’m hoping objects will move around and things will break and doors would just slam shut out of nowhere and the sims would investigate. That would be pretty cool. Although I have to say I’m leaning more Arts and Crafts because it would probably be more useful in normal gameplay.
finally, someone that gets it!!! Happy haunts would be fun but only for a couple play throughs. Arts and Crafts gives the elders what they finally need and would offer more over the long term!

I’m all for the self care one! It’d be awesome there could be some new added fruits or veggies to grow for smoothies…and the vegan option is great! And it’d be awesome if vegan sims knew not to eat food with meat in it so they wouldn’t go throw up all the time, lol.
Arts and crafts sounds amazing
Fun Tech or Science & Technology as the objects in those ideas sound to awesome to decorate houses and public lots (especially gyms with the indoor cycling machine I legit feel like gym equipment is lacking in the sims 4) if not those arts and crafts sounds decent but might be a feature I’ll end up forgetting about, Happy haunts seems way to gimmicky that I’ll eventually forget like the spooky stuff pack, although that spirit board sounds pretty cool. The self care pack just sounds pretty lame and should be included in a free update or something.

YES. the spooky kids need to back the heck off; they have ENOUGH stuff for now (vampires, ghosts, halloween stuffs, etc). they can wait a while and let us knit some sweaters for winter

Plus there has already been soooo much supernatural stuff that has been released recently. I think that something like arts and crafts would end up being better in the long run.

Exactly!! We already have so much occult stuff in TS4, and it’s not everyone’s forte. I personally do like playing with occult sims but there have already been so many occult themed packs for TS4, it’s time to get some more realistic things back into the game.
I’d like to have the haunted pack
The first one I was immediately drawn to was the happy haunts pack. I am really into all the paranormal stuff so to have it my game would be awesome. That’s the one I will be making my vote on for sure.

Arts and Crafts sounds awesome. I would love to be able to make more things. The other 3 could be fun too. Happy Haunts is too far leaning towards demonic. Sims doesn’t have any Pastor or Rabbi careers or Praying actions or crosses or prayer mats or kneelers, or anything related to the major religions (aside from a couple new Islamic architecture features and clothing), yet they want to offer a Spirit Board and Psychic occupation. Those things are seriously dangerous for the spirit and shouldn’t be played with, lest people turn to trying that stuff for real.

I feel like happy haunts shouldve been included with spooky stuff. I think arts and crafts and self care would be a better bet. Like we just got a pack where you can use magic and stuff and since halloween just past obviously everyones going to want spooky. I want something ill use everytime i make a new sim not something im going to use a few times when im feeling spooky
Happy haunts seems kind of over hyped… there is already so much occult stuff in TS4. More realistic things like Self Care or Arts and Crafts seem more interesting. There are barely any hobbies in TS4 so I feel like that one would be the most beneficial. I also have a feeling that Happy Haunts would just be fun to play through once, like Strangerville. It’s honestly surprising how much hype Happy Haunts is getting.
H A P P Y H A U N T S !!! it’s what we deserve. let me have a psychic or ghost hunting sim. Even the seance table and spirit board could bring loads of fun for all ages and all types of game plays!! kid sims having a sleepover and playing with a spirit board, or an elderly widowed sim contacting her dead husband through the seance table!!! so interesting, so amazing.
