Three New Free Items are Hitting The Sims 4 Marketplace, One More Asset Than Last Week!
As EA promised (or threatened) last week, the second round of free Sims 4 Marketplace Maker Packs have hit the Sims 4 Marketplace, along with one paid pack. As per usual, we want to tell you all about it so you don't have to load up your game and get through the usual main menu pop-ups just to see the 4-ish items provided by these free maker packs. Read on for more information while we silently mourn SDX drops.
The two free maker packs available are the Japandi Bedroom Essentials by SixamCC and the Monolith Office Collection by ValiaSims. Both include 2 items, with both packs totaling *four free items*. The single paid pack that released is also by SixamCC, and is titled the Candy Wonderland Kids Bedroom. The paid pack from SixamCC includes 20 build mode items for a total of 400 "Moola".

Yeah, I was SHOCKED to see that from Sixam, of all people.
While I vehemently despise Moola and has vowed never to buy anything using it, I have to say that I unlike the author enjoy these free updates more than the SDX drops if only for the reason that I can actually turn these down. So many of the SDX drops have been items I don’t want or use meaning it clutters up my BB or CAS. Here I get to choose if I want them or not, and I’m always a fan of opt-in/opt-out choices. I skipped the shoes, knowing I’d never use them, but have picked up everything else.
I’ll take free stuff any time of the day. The base game lacks decent beds so this actually is a nice addition. Still not paying for any maker set tho
ngl, that mac-like pc is a thing that i’ll use very often (especially on community lots) and not only downloaded it because it’s free
Sims has turned into a weird gatcha game and I jsut do not care for it.
I don’t like the idea of Marketplace, but I like the desk made of stone. Luckily it’s for free.
I guess this is the way I look at it… If there’s something that I really, really want, and it’s even just on a pre-release from a CC creator on patreon, I will subscribe just to get that whatever it may be. Then I unsubscribe. So if I see something on the marketplace that I really want, and it’s not an outrageous amount of money and seems comparable to what I’m a pay on patreon then I will get it. So far though I haven’t even really checked out the marketplace because everything I’ve seen has been something that while very nice I can live without and therefore my Sims can live without.
I don’t mind these marketplace that much as it actually allows more space for my mods folder. Also that bed & mirror looks really good.
I like the bedroom one. Feels like a add on for the Wonderland kit in a way that alows it without copyright issues
