Britechester may be a university town, but there’s so much more to Britechester than just its two rival universities. Namely, the residents of Britechester represent a wide variety of people who might find themselves settling in an old historical town like Britechester for one reason or another. From bright-eyed, bushy-tailed freshmans, to elderly folks who aren’t so happy about the influx of younger people taking over their once quiet neighbourhood, you’ll meet Sims from all walks of life in Britechester.

Household Notes

• The Pleasant twins are originally from The Sims 2 base game. In The Sims 2, they were teenagers and resided in Pleasantview with their parents, Mary-Sue and Daniel.
• Their first names are meant to represent their personalities. Angela means “Angel.” In biblical literature, Lilith is the mother of demons.
• Their surname is meant to be ironic. In The Sims 2, they came from a household that looked like the perfect family from the outside, but secretly had a lot of problems.
• Angela and Lilith are a classic “Good Twin/Bad Twin” character archetype, but of course the player has the freedom to take their story in any direction they wish.
• Lilith’s bedroom is much smaller than her sister’s and decorated in dark colours and posters on the wall.
• Angela has the master bedroom on the third floor. Unlike her sister’s room, it is very elegant and spacious with a large walk-in closet and private ensuite. The fact that Angela’s room is on the upper level and Lilith’s is on the lower level could be another subtle nod to their “Angel vs. Demon” dynamic.
• There is an easel in the backyard for Angela’s Art History program, although, curiously, Lilith also has Painting skill.

The Elderberry Household

Ekram and Eleanore have lived in Gibbs Hill all their lives from young love, to a growing family, and finally into retirement. Eleanore loves seeing the new students appear each term, but Ekram isn’t always as fond of the young adults taking over their quiet town. Recently the couple’s teenage grandson, Rohan, came to live with them as he prepares to go to university soon. Rohan will soon finish high school and have to make his final decision on what university he wants to attend.

• “Eleanore” is spelled with a third “e” in the household description, but in-game, her name is spelled Eleanor. Most likely a small typo or oversight during development.
• Although Eleanor has Piano skill, there is no piano in her house. An unused room upstairs filled with crates might indicate Eleanor had to get rid of her piano to make room for her grandson to move in.
• Rohan is friends with both his grandparents. Eleanor and Ekram also have a good relationship with each other.
• Rohan’s bedroom in his grandparents’ house is very empty with almost no decoration or touches of personality whatsoever in it. The spare room next to his bedroom is mostly empty except for crates scattered around and a bunch of old toys. This seems to indicate Rohan moved in with his grandparents very recently and has not finished unpacking all his things yet. It could also mean his move was sudden and his grandparents didn’t have time to put away all his old toys from when he was a kid or make the room more teen-friendly.

• Felix Psyded is the only one of these Sims who has a backstory. Sims can learn about who Felix was and how he died by researching urban legends on the research machines at either university; however, it’s easy enough to see that he died an untimely death from laughter by looking at his age and traits in CAS.
• Due to these Sims’ high skills and older ages, it’s likely that they’re meant to take the role of university professors. All the “professors” seem to have traits and aspirations that coincide with the different degrees offered at each university.
• If Get Famous is installed, Serena and Jing will start out with Awful Reputations due to their traits.
