The Sims 4: New Update + Patch Notes! (November 25th, 2019)

I wondered if something wonky was going on with the toddlers. I could NOT keep them entertained and they were exhausted. Glad to know they’ll be manageable again.

THANK GOD! I can finally play discover university.

Was hoping my sims would finally be able to watch tv again but hey, at least I won’t avoid toddlers anymore!

Except… now I can’t play. I tried to repair game, update game… only thing left is to uninstall and reinstall.

i knew toddlers were harder to look after than usual, it’s been near impossible to keep them happy

Chefs still stop cooking mid shift once you have a successful restaurant and played it for hours. Really tired of this one.

I didn’t update my game from the previous patch for university since I need to go through some now bad custom content. So I missed out on hard mode! Toddlers edition of the game. I assume and hope this update didn’t destroy several mods like the initial patch for uni.

My sims won’t go to class on time and when they do it’s and hour later and they get stuck in it for hours!

Anyone else having issues, my sims are invisible, my roof is purplre and green ????, my wallpaper and sidding is wood panels, and i am missing many objects(all of wich are not CC). I am very frustrated.

I update my game but my cc still broken. When I go into create a sim, the face does not show up only teeth. I do not know what today.

I updated my game now when I go into new game I can not see the sim to do anything with.

I’ve never had all these problems people talk about. Just the cake problems I’ve been having since I bought the sims 4 years ago.

I am good with how the game is now, no need to update. Although would be nice for the Sim to no longer walk through items like tables. Must be that lazy trait who wants to go around when you can go right through I guess.

My toddler was taken away and I couldn’t work out why their needs declined so fast. Will I be able to get my toddler back or is it gone forever ??

Unfortunately the update just makes my game load for 5 minutes

I still have a problem. When I open the sims game everything is fine, but when I click a household on the map, it goes to the loading screen then crashes. I would really like this problem to be fixed because now I can’t play the Sims at all, and I just got the Island Living expansion pack, Realm of magic game pack and toddler stuff pack.

I hope this patch helps! But for some reason before the patch, every time my sim used the bathroom it turned into a pranked toilet. Even tho she lives in a home with her family so none of the new toilets from university and there isn’t even an option to make the normal toilet to be pranked by other sims its happening on the toilet that’s supposed to be unbreakable. Also I can’t give my dogs a bath it keeps saying the bathtubs are clogged even tho they work fine I even deleted my bathtub and bought them new but still can’t give my dogs a bath. Sorry one more thing my pregnant sims I take them to the hospital to give birth but nothing happens she just keeps waiting to give birth she’s wearing the hospital gown has the heart symbol above her head but nothing happens fast forward time still nothing and then get the notification to have baby at hospital or home again. Sorry to complain but these are some the things I’ve run into while playing the sims. I’ve had to use cheats or find another way around the issues like for my sim getting constantly pranked on normal toilets I had to build up her satisfaction points to buy the reward steel bladder so I wouldn’t have to keep repairing or replacing my toilets constantly.

I’ve noticed my siblings can be romantic ever since downloading university. Will this ever be addressed? Super weird

Why is it that when I am trying to find a house to buy the ones on the very top right I cannot buy? I have the money it just won’t let me click on it at all. And also when I am trying to choose my Sims clothes I cannot change the colors of the clothes. The colors pop up but it does not let me click on any of them, so I have been just picking whatever it is and having to wear it like that..

Yay, super excited to try the patch fix. I had so many stories running for university and was bummed to not be able to continue playing. Thank you for fixing the bugs.

Please please stop the random sprite visitors after you’ve left the organisation or graduated university. Every. Single. Day. They pop up and my sim is tense and I can’t play her anymore! None of the cheat codes have worked to stop them.

after the patch my game has not been letting me join my household, it keeps kicking out to the map, what do i do?

Can’t go online with the Sims (origin is fine) keeps saying it’s denied for online use, no button in the game to click to allow online no CC no mods very frustrating already installed and reinstalled.

So we can rest easy knowing that another single thing works (hopefully)

I’ve been having sprites follow me everywhere even though I left the college organization, HOW DO I FIX THIS

Recently, my sims (including cats and dogs) have had black squares under them. I’ve learned to live with it, since I don’t want stop playing sims, but it would be really nice to fix it and hear others have the same thing. I know I’m only one out of many people who have problems, so I’m not expecting an answer!

My sims game cant even make it to the main page before crashing, I’ve downloaded legacy, repaired the game, and even uninstalled and reinstalled origin. What should I do?

I have a problem with the elves in discover university. They keep following me after I left the “elf community”. Make them go away! I can’t keep them pleased because I can’t make an offer at their stone.
And I don’t want them there. It makes my sim stressed ALL the time.

the roofs are stuffed i can only place roof on close to ground & nothing with a foundation, was fine before patch.
i have no mods, all the expansions, checked repair game & update game everything is fine.

When will you guys fix sims 4 legacy. People who don’t have money for new computers can’t play sims 4 discover university. Even though we paid for it. I best you fix it before you guys start losing money

I have the legacy edition with two adult Sims, a child sim and two dog Sims. The game never crashed like this on me before the last update, but it went from running fine, a little laggy, to my desktop. I lost an hour of gameplay… It happened when I was transferring to my vet clinic. I’ve done that before. I don’t know what the issue is. I have an older laptop, but it has handled it fine so far…
