SimGuruLegacy has just announced that a brand new update for The Sims 4 on Xbox One and PS4 will be releasing today!

The update will fix a few bugs and issues, fix some things around The Gallery and allow you to download the newest creations from it!

Along with the new update there’s also going to be a pack release for Consoles – The Sims 4 Tiny Living Stuff Pack will be made available for Xbox One and PS4 later today for $9.99!

The update (and the pack) are expected to come out at 7PM CET / 6PM BT / 10AM PT.

Now I wish they would try to implement CC in the Sims 4 console. It’s been years and no word on that. Even if Playstation says they cant, Xbox probably would be fine with it and it would allow more freedom, though they will probably find a way to charge us for it.

As a console player I whole heartedly appreciate this pack coming to us as quick as it has. I’m still sad about my first pet stuff though. Although I’m probably the only one. SMH.

Stop holding your breath. There HAS been word on it. Multiple times from multiple gurus.

EA doesn’t actually support CC so it won’t ever happen. Even with gurus showing support for cc and mods, it’s not something that they control. Some games, such as Skyrim, have their own mod/cc platform and that’s why they’re able to offer mods and cc to console users. The Sims cc has always been from random sites and there’s no sort of monitoring or approval process other than players recommending mods and cc to other players. This is something that EA would have to do, and I don’t see it ever happening.

So ungrateful. The gallery is a big step as it is yet you want CC.

I would like them to add a choice of direct control again.. Most games have that and sims should too. I do like the updates this far so thanks for them.

Sims 2 PS2 was awesome! The direct controls just worked smoothly. Honestly, I would rather we get our own console game with our DLC separate from PC. The console sims always had great stories

Will this update include the new hairstyles for children and toddlers?
