Last week simmers had a chance to choose the name and pack icon for The Sims 4’s upcoming Stuff Pack!
The Sims Team has finally published the results in their latest blog post, revealing that the pack will be called The Sims 4 Nifty Knitting Stuff Pack and what the pack’s icon is gonna be. Check it out!

It’s hard to believe that only six months ago, the Community Voted Stuff Pack was just announced! Since then, Simmers have been busy choosing the pack’s theme, directing the art style, picking the Create-a-Sim assets, and selecting the objects. We’ve finally reached the end of the voting process, though, and we have our final results. In this last round, we asked you to vote on an icon and a name for this arts-and-crafts focused pack.

With the final round of voting complete, we want to take a moment and thank you all for your participation. You turned out in record numbers to weigh in and help us create something super fun. It really shows that we’re all in this basket of yarn together. These votes have been a highlight for us this year, and now all that’s left is to create the actual thing itself!
For now, we’re going to be focused on knitting this pack together for you and crafting the perfect late-summer treat. We still have quite a bit of work to do, but in just a few months, all of it will come to fruition and your Sims will be rocking along and crafting knittables in their new chairs. While you wait, though, take sneak a peek at some of the new gameplay features you can expect. SimGuruConor kindly shared a quick preview (including a new way for your Sims to sell their knittables via the Plopsy online storefront!) a few weeks ago.

Nifty knitting is such a cute name! And I can’t wait for the pack. I feel like this pack and Tiny Living will go well together!

I fell like the whole reason we picked knitting was because we wanted something for our elders to do as well, I hope the sims team realizes that and maybe create a pack to better the senior sims community maybe even a sims 4 version on generations?

Unfortunately members of the community picked items that are more for YA and adults than for elders. Elders really have a lack of clothing that actually fit their age group and look decent. This pack would’ve been good for them to get more attention but alas. Maybe we will get generations EP or maybe not as we had parenthood for a GP. But the life states outside of adults and young adults need more attention. Children and toddlers got their own stuff pack but I feel that teens and elders need their own too.

Can we maybe introduce more minor pets in this pack or this year sometime as well? I would love to finally be able to have turtles, tortoises, and snakes again. And cars! That work, not just for decoration :\ That can add a lot of things such as instead of just a vet, someone can specialize in herpatology. Maybe add adoption as an option after breeding animals like the frogs can be bred. And add an aging process to the minor pets as well. How CUTE would it be to have tiny baby turtles/ tortoises/ snakes and be able to sell/ adopt them? Maybe do pet stores as well! And more content to create it. Call it “Going Places” and add cars, minor pets, pet stores, etc, and more extensions or new branches to current career paths. Currently out of work IT girl. If you need ideas, I’ll do the whole pack. I just want to see it in the game xD
