Tartosa is a brand new coastal world coming with The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories Game Pack!

The Sims Team couldn’t wait to share the excitement of this new world. SimGurus have already started updating their header photos featuring new screenshots of the world. Let’s go through each one!

The first screenshot shows a beautiful sunset setting down in Tartosa from the point of view of, what appears to be, a balcony. In the background you can also spot the lighthouse!

Now this one is really interesting! You can see the Tartosa center square (which, I have to be honest, reminds me a lot of the world from Disney’s Luca). Around the town square are the new interactable rabbit holes where you can window shop and order food and flowers from the stalls.

There are also many picturesque pathways around the new residental lots, as well as a proper new beach. Don’t worry – SimGurus have confirmed that beaches in Tartosa are swimmable! That also means that if you have Island Living you’ll be able to drive around in boats, jet skis and more.

Another Tartosa preview screen showcases a gorgeous new waterfall with a wooden pathway built across it. Another gorgeous setting for your Sims to get proposed to!

There is another screenshot of what appears to be a whole different Neighborhood of Tartosa. This area of Tartosa features coastal walkpaths, new swimmable areas, waterfalls and more.

Last, but certainly not least, is a new avatar screenshot from SimGuruNova featuring the waterfalls in the background. Check it out:

Do we know if it’s a destination world or a live-in world?

Who decided to call this world “Tartosa”? So funny!! In Spanish it means being sometimes dumb, retarded or gets stuck talking.

Whereas in English “tart” is slang for a promiscuous person, so maybe not the best choice there either…

I’m in England and whilst you’re not wrong I’d actually forgotten this word even existed in this context until you just said it. It’s pretty old fashioned. Those groovy tarts are far out man.

Yes but the translation or the meaning in spanish for ‘tartosa’ is often use to refer or recall someone who doesn’t talk properly

What? No! I was refering the meaning in spanish not in english and tartosa is mostly use in that way like: When someone doesn’t speak properly, tu eres tartoso or tu eres tartosa (for her)

Dammit. I genuinely have less than no interest in weddings, but I’m a sucker for worlds. :/

It’s stunning! Hopefully there’ll be a good amount of lots as well.

A Mediterranean world was on my absolute Sims 4 wishlist, and while I’m not really the wedding planner type I’m always interested in new worlds, and this one’s one I really wanted!

Although I’m not that much interested in the pack’s topic, I surprisingly do like its features and the world so much that I might even get it on release day.
And yes, you are right, Tartosa looks a bit like the town from Luca. It also reminded me a bit of the movie Call me by your name (wonderfull movie, too!). Just love it. ❤
