The Save Game Error 0 Update
The Sims Team has released a brand new update for The Sims 4 on PC, Mac, Xbox One and PS4!
IMPORTANT: Because it takes time to rollout a fresh fix on third party platforms such as Playstation and Xbox (not owned by EA), the hot fix update needs to be approved by those companies first. Which is why the update, as of now, isn’t available on Consoles. We’ll make sure to let you know when it is!
The Sims Team has released an official statement, saying that the update is coming to Consoles “early next week”.
To download the latest version of The Sims 4, simply open your Origin program and if the game doesn’t update automatically, right click on The Sims 4 and select ”Update”.
In case you have Mods or Custom Content, the game will automatically disable them for you after first launching The Sims 4 after the update. To re-enable all your Mods and Custom Content, select the Settings option in the Menu and select Settings. Under the ”Other” section you’ll find the ”Enable Custom Content and Mods” option. Check it and restart your game in order for it to take effect!

Sul sul, Simmers!
This update consists of two fixes addressing “Error Code: 0” some of you might be encountering when trying to save. If you still run into this error after updating, please let us know on Answers HQ.
As always, thank you for your continued support and feedback.

The Sims 4
- Games with Neighborhood Stories configured to enable neighbors to “Join a Career” now should be able to save normally. If you had disabled this option to avoid the issue, you now should be able to play with it.
My Wedding Stories
- Couples marrying now consistently can enjoy their big day with a cake.

I’m not sure if you’re saying you were fine without the patch but most simmers were unable to save, even with work-arounds; losing hours of gameplay.
