ARTICLE UPDATE: SimGuruConor confirmed that Small Telescopes will in fact be USABLE, and that there's also a "Hint of Death". A new death type while using the telescope?!
After 8 years of so many community requests for The Sims Team to include a Telescope that is not so giant, the team finally listened!
In the latest reveal trailer for The Sims 4 Werewolves, the trailer has showcased a new room featuring new stuff and furniture.
Oh, what is that in the corner of the room with a new seating arrangement? Well a Small Telescope of course!

Great catch! At freakin’ last!!! Unless, horrified gasp, it’s just a prop and not a working telescope. They wouldn’t be that cruel, would they? NVM, just read the dev confirming it’s legit. This and the electric guitar are some pretty solid additions coming with this pack.

Outrageous !!! XDD I want a small telescope!! Why is it coming with a gamepack I’m not interested in XD I sincerely hope the gamepack is interesting and NOT BROKEN and gives me a reason to buy it because I am NOT buying it just for a small telescope no matter how much I want it.

I’m thinking that it’ll be in the base game as well in the update pre the gamepack, as that isn’t something I’d like to think they’d slap into the gamepack alone

I think the telescope is tied to the pack. The moonphase tho, I wonder if it will be a free udpate?

I was actually hoping that so thank you for the confirmation! Remember how for some packs like the Spa Day they added some features to the base game too? Like the nail polish. So I really hope that’s the case with this pack too! I wouldn’t be surprised if we actually get one in the BG especially considering that now we also have the SDX.
Worst case scenario, if they don’t add it to BG, now with the appropriate animation, the modders can build a good small telescope! I downloaded one CC small telescope once but it was basically the giant telescope with the “picture” of a small one. The animation was totally off and the sounds from the giant telescope was still there.

Your comment has made me of the times people say “but modders do it better”, like sure they can but for the most part they do rely on the sims team doing certain things to make their job easier. bunkbeds is honestly something that got better slowly when we got the ladder & platforms.

Really? I thought that was an acoustic one!
I can imagine it will be exclusively for this game pack for a year or so and afterwards they will add it into a Base game. It was a case with laptops. I bought strangervile pack because I wanted laptops but after a while they were added for free.

Given this game’s history. It’ll be exclusive to the DLC. Just like modular couches and hot tubs. Unless you count that ugly 20 anniversary one which I do not.
It’d be pretty fun if there were 2 telescopes in that size. One base game one and one that’s more fitting to the pack – maybe one with some cracks in the lense, because that would be PAWsome
