UPDATE: Players unable to redeem & download The Sims 4 Desert Luxe Kit should now be able to access the free kit through the EA App & Origin. Simply restart the EA App/Origin, and the kit will be available for you to claim.
The hotfix also resolved the Origin error where unowned content was showing up as "owned" in players' game libraries. You may have to restart Origin, but you should no longer see this taking place. Thank you for your patience during this time.

If you play The Sims 4 either on PC/Mac or Consoles you can redeem the Kit from the official stores, or from The Sims 4's Main Menu!

I just redeemed my copy of the upcoming Kit release for The Sims 4. For Free.
The Sims 4 Desert Luxe Kit is the upcoming Kit for the game that's set to release in 2 hours. However, it seems that it's been released on Origin right now for free!
The Kit has been listed with a $0 price tag. I was able to obtain the Kit for free and get it in my Origin library.
You can redeem The Sims 4 Desert Luxe for FREE on PC and Mac through Origin and/or the EA Desktop App. If you play The Sims 4 on Consoles the easiest method is to open up The Sims 4 and obtain the free Kit from the Main Menu!
