Players are unable to access their EA App Game Library or even Log In into their accounts.
ARTICLE UPDATE: Servers should be coming back up according to EA Help!
It’s happening again! Players of EA titles have started reporting connectivity issues with EA App (for Windows) and Origin (for Mac).
Players of any Electronic Arts titles including The Sims 4 and the newly released Star Wars Jedi title are all reporting the same. Which is that the EA App won’t connect for them at all!
EA App Down: Issue & Statement
The EA App, also formerly known as Origin, is a desktop app (only for Windows now) that provides gamers with access to EA games and titles from other publishers. This app allows users to browse and download games, manage their accounts, and stay informant of new titles and offers.
The app also offers social features that enable users to connect with their friends and compete against each other in multiplayer games.
Unfortunately, the latest connectivity issue is still active and present. Customers are saying that they’re unable to see their Game Library. This error comes with the issues with EA’s online services.
The official EA Help account has released a statement on this issue, stating the following:
Something’s up with our online services, but we’re on it. In the meantime, you might not be able to connect to online modes, buy games, or log in to your account. We’ll get you back in your game as soon as we can.
As of now there aren’t any news regarding the further development and maintenance of lost connectivity. I’m still unable to access my Game Library, and I’m playing on Origin (Mac). It might take some time until we know more.
Are you still experiencing issues with the EA App? If so, let us know in the comments!
We’ll keep you posted about the state of EA App and Origin servers. Stay tuned on Sims Community!
