Expect Ailment improvements for the latest Expansion, as well as general fixes.
The Sims Team has made a public announcement last night that they’ve prepared a new Sims 4 Update ready to roll out for next week, starting July 28th.
Although they haven’t specified the exact release time, it’s expected that it’ll come delivered together for Desktop and Console players. With tweaks to Ailments from The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature Expansion, as well as several other bug fixes.
Here’s what the team has stated in a message across several channels:

Next week’s patch brings a round of improvements based on your feedback:
- In Enchanted by Nature, Ailment frequency will be reduced by up to 75% and improvements to Balance will also reduce Ailments further.
- Additional info will be shared about how Ailments work and when Fairy Wings should be visible.
- Plus, we’re looking to address a few top community-reported concerns, including the missing Werewolf nose colors.

They better fix console users not being able to go online 🙁
It’s kind of ruined my experience these past couple weeks.
I had this problem for a bit and I just had to relink my ea account! There should be a button when you go to other in game options
Yes, console users are having it rough after the last few updates, game freezing and unresponsive on save menu, plus the chronic restart of settings to defaults every…single…time…it’s….opened, almost as annoying as that sentence. I’ve lost hours of build time thinking the game had saved but the last save time was over an hour ago
I hate when the console guide keep popping up on the corner of my screen everytime I open the game
THIS! i spent hours on a Fairy Sim and it glitched, switched to a townie and when I tried to undo/redo, said “nothing to undo”
What about the save corruption?
You need to fix the save issue on consoles. I’ve lost entire files!!!
