The requirements for building Sims 4 Playgrounds will get easier for builders.
In an official announcement by The Sims Direct Team, it's confirmed that The Sims 4 Playground Venues will be getting a slight change in requirements. Specifically changing the number of required Playground Equipment from 6 down to 3.

This comes after several users reported about The Sims 4 Base Game having less than six playground objects available. Making it seem like the only way to finish a Playground Venue is by getting more DLC releases.

Thank you for your feedback on the new playground venues. With the launch of Adventure Awaits the requirements for playground venues will be adjusted from 6 objects, down to 3.
This statement also confirms that there's going to be a new The Sims 4 Update set to release on October 2nd, when Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack is set to release as well.
Stay tuned on Sims Community for all the information about the next game patch!

I wonder why hopscotch and marbles are not included in these playground equipment, hmm.

The game table of the “Little Campers” kit is not included either, nor is the entire kit, even though it is a children’s kit.

What pack has hopscotch and marbles?

I wish they just gave us new playground objects instead. I think the ONLY gameplay update the basegame got this year was burglars and kids playing pretend. And the latter was just ripped from Growing Together.

So many packs have swings already, I will be impressed if they are never added for the base game, as they have done things like that before.
Unless I’m mistaken, there’s no countdown article for the expansion pack this time? I liked those! 🙂
