Rumored New InZOI World Coming Soon

In recent days, the InZOI Reddit community has been discussing the discovery of files that may hint at the game's second DLC with a new InZOI world. According to these findings, players believe it could introduce a new French-inspired world codenamed "Lavender City." At the same time, the leaks also reference two additional PurpleCity placeholder slots. Although their purpose hasn't been confirmed, the community believes they may be reserved for future worlds or empty maps that players will eventually be able to customize from scratch.

While these findings have been circulating for some time, the discussion has gained new momentum following an official reaction from InZOI Director Kjun. Responding to the community's speculation, he simply replied with two emojis: a lavender flower and a purple heart.

What's the Reddit Community Saying?

new inzoi world

I just wanted to inform and clarify for the members that E02 LavenderCity and the two PurpleCity slots have been carried over in the modkit since the 0.3.x/0.4.0 game versions (2025/10/29), as polkacat wrote here: https://www.reddit.com/r/inZOI/comments/1pd51nu/possibly_new_city_coming/ or here on Discord: https://discord.com/channels/1162040845181124618/1443962194889932800/1445533741467308284.

Kjun didn’t respond that time, even though we hinted to him or asked about Lavender while he was typing, and he reacted to our posts with a lavender and a purple heart🪻💜

We still don’t know whether these code lines are actually relevant or just from earlier work. It’s possible we got the Provence‑style architecture and furniture in the Apr update as leftover assets.

Although of course we can assume that this DLC E02 is to be, let’s wait for official info. Or maybe we should try asking again?

Kjun later reacted to the discussion on the official Discord, responding with a lavender flower and a purple heart emoji. While he didn't confirm the rumors, his reaction reignited speculation among fans that the discovery could eventually become a reality.

Where Do These Rumors Come From?

The original post dates back around seven months, when Reddit user polkacat12321 shared files discovered in InZOI versions 0.3.x and 0.4.0. Around the same time, InZOI Director Kjun confirmed that the team was working on traditional European and Korean architecture assets, prompting some players to speculate that the hidden files could be related to a future European-themed new InZOI world.

What Could Lavender City Look Like?

While nothing has been confirmed about Lavender City itself, the codename has led many players to speculate that the world could be inspired by the French countryside or the Provence region. This theory gained traction after Kjun confirmed that the development team was working on traditional European architecture assets.

More recently, the June update introduced 17 pieces of European-inspired antique furniture, leading some fans to wonder whether these assets were originally created for a future European-themed world or simply expanded the game's existing build catalog. For now, there's no official confirmation linking these additions to the rumored DLC.

The Next World Is Already Confirmed

In an official statement released earlier this year, Kjun and the InZOI team unveiled Canvastown, a brand-new world scheduled to arrive later in 2026. Unlike the existing maps, Canvastown is designed as a smaller, countryside-inspired setting where players will be able to place more lots while benefiting from improved performance. The new map will also introduce the ability to share entire city saves with other players, making it easier than ever to showcase custom-built worlds. Given that Canvastown was announced months after the PurpleCity placeholders were first discovered, some players believe one of those slots may have already been reserved for this confirmed world.
