Well we’ll all get it someday. And it’s great that they’ll give it for free. 🙂 I wish I had it now too but that’s life I guess.
It would be great if you could go online and download it for free instead of someone giving it. They’re not even giving it to everyone. 🙁
I think they will in August 🙂 Right now they are choosing some people randomly to test it but by August it will be available for free to everyone, before the game comes out in September. I’m guessing it will be available to download from Origin or something 🙂

When is it going to be available for everyone? 😥 I have an Origin account. In fact, I made it so I can get the demo. Where can I download it? ?:-) I can’t w8 2 start making Sims. Especially wiv the new one. I saw the demo on Youtube… and it looks gr8! :laugh:

Really irritated that I didn’t get the demo.. I have played Sims since the beginning and have all Expansion and Stuff Packs for The Sims 3 as well as All of the Worlds… I have an Origin Account OBVIOUSLY, And yet 90% of people who received the demo are youtubers or bloggers who can PROMOTE the Sims 4 (not all, I know of some people who aren’t that got it) It’s UNFAIR that people who are such HUGE fans of the Sims Series didn’t get the demo just because we don’t Post YouTube videos or Blog about it on Tumblr!!! C’Mon EA!!! Give us ALL the Demo!!!! I think AT LEAST Give the Demo to EVERYONE who PRE-ORDERED!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!! (Sorry, Kinda Needed to Vent a Bit)
I thought that too before. I have just as many Sim games as you and have literally been playing since I was 8, and I’m 22 now.. but after watching my Origin account for about two weeks, I finally got the demo! 🙂 Make sure you go to the sims official site and sign up for the demo/newsletter they send out. I was already signed up but then they changed the newsletter to include the demo and so I signed up again. Literally the next day I got the demo! (PS I am NOT a youtuber, or someone ‘popular’ in the sims community)

I’m sure, with patience, everyone will get a chance to experience the CAS demo…
Unfortunately my demo updates are not installing and thus preventing me from getting to play it anymore… Does anyone have any suggestions as to why the update won’t install and what I can try to make it happen??

I know it’s release date but I pre-ordered when it was first available and didn’t get the demo! I’ve been waiting FOREVER!!!
And try uninstalling and reinstalling the demo… You can also ask a SimGuru for a manual patch on twitter
