600 moolah seems a little much for the coffee decor items. That equates to $7.50. Don’t get me wrong, theyre cute, but I think 300 to 500 moolah makes a little more sense.
600? delusional.
Maxis sure is pushing these releases out, which signals to me the fish aren’t biting and they’re trying to see what sticks. It’s still the first month.
Charging $6 for 16 CLUTTER items, after everyone complained about paying $5 for 16 FURNITURE items is absolutely a choice.
Not to mentions there’s no way to purchase 600 moolah. You have either buy 1000 for $10 or 500 & 200 for $7.50. Not only is the pack overpriced, I have to pay even more for it? Absolutely not.
Why would I do that?
It is my understanding that these sets go live whenever a Maker publishes the Maker Pack and it gets approved. So it’s not really Maxis pushing the sets out, it is the Makers that are submitting the packs and the packs getting aprroved. Blame the Maker for the 600 moola choice, since they are the ones setting what they think their content is worth. As for your comment on “the fish aren’t biting, it’s already been confirmed that the Marketplace is hitting expectations. Just because you are seeing a small fraction of disliking for the Marketplace online doesn’t mean to say it isn’t doing well. The online community is a very small fraction of the actual player base. There’s more players that enjoy the game that are not a part of the online community.
It’s kinda disappointing to see that, despite everything, you still promote the Marketplace. And no, you don’t really support CC creators when they only get 30% of the price. You support EA.
This is just the creators showing their full colors by charging an arm and a leg for bare minimum…I urge people to boycott these creators that are making stuff for the marketplace.
