The Sims FreePlay has just launched their latest Holiday 2017 Update which promises plenty of awesome events and quests throughout the next few weeks! Here’s what’s coming (and what’s currently available):
Experience pure luxury for the holidays when you reunite with your favorite characters, join them on a whirlwind tour of fantastical locations, and arrive at the ultimate snow destination!
In a commemorative update, we’re celebrating the spirit of the holidays while you play the Snow Problem Seasonal Quest. While preparing for another lovely Christmas, a snowy wonderment of fun and excitement turns to despair as something – or rather, someone – literally rains on their parade! Gather your Sims, revisit old friends, and make new ones as you try to return SimTown to its snowy glory! Do so and be rewarded with the ultimate prize – an extravagant Snow Chalet, plus unlock beautiful build-mode content like sculptures, chandeliers, and our biggest couch yet!
Hair, glorious hair! It’s time to sharpen your scissors and design your very own SimTown Hair Salon with the Hair Salon Live Event. Create new on-trend hairstyles for your Sims in your salon with hairdressing stations and barber chairs, while adding some extra flair through basins, swivel chairs, reception desks, and more!
Lit, fire, on fleek – however you want to name it, the Streetwear Hobby Event is your chance to get your hands on lots of new outfits! Stretch up, because your Sims will be participating in the Aerobics Hobby for this!

More Highlights:
- From the start of the update, we’ll be handing out a holiday gifts to Simmers. These are all Christmas-themed, ranging from doors and windows, to sofas.
- To celebrate The Sims FreePlay’s sixth birthday, we’ll be gifting Simmers with a Mystery Box redeemable between December 14 – 18 (AEDT).
- We’ve added three new skin tones for all Sim genders and age groups!
