SimGuru shares vague The Sims 4 Teasers

69

There’s a lot unknown revolving The Sims 4 at the moment.

First off, we had the mysterious The Sims 4 Game Pack icon that was accidentally leaked by TheSims.com. Many have speculated that it could be revolving around Star Wars or around Winter Activities.

Throughout the last couple of days SimGuruGeorge has been posting some vague teasers that seem to be giving at hint at future The Sims 4 content. It all started with George sharing nothing but a screenshot of the Future Cube, which we figured out to be containing two new hints:

  • Side by side. Sure. Spaced out. Yup.Stack ‘em up? Hmm.
  • The most popular destination to elope is not yet known.

Then, he vaguely shared a screenshot of the Chef Pig sculpture:

I went into the game to see what the object Porc du Jour is all about:

Enlist the services of a charming personal chef, Jolly, generously proportioned, this friendly companion has an appetite for finer morsels. Indulge him by writing on his ready little slab. Then wipe it clean and start afresh, for another day full of delights.

Screenshot 175

The other teaser by SimGuruGeorge that was just recently shared out was a screenshot of the Viney League Encased Scrolls:

As pointed out by the community member @EvanLe24, the screenshot above also contains 3 small words that have been hidden inside of the screen: mystery, hint and hidden.

I did a quick check in the game to see the object description which reads:

Give your degrees gravitas with this fine display. No diplomas necessary – we’ve already included some for you!

SimGuru shares vague The Sims 4 Teasers

These teasers, at least at this moment, seem to not be making a whole lot of sense. However, George did confirm that this won’t be the last teaser shared out:

The Sims Mobile: Renovate Your Space Update is coming this week!

10

The Sims Mobile announced that they’ll be releasing a brand new update called Renovate Your Space coming out this week! More specifically, the update should be rolling out around August 4th for Google Play and App Stores.

Check out what the update has to offer:

The Sims Mobile: Renovate Your Space Update is coming this week!

Sul sul,

We’re constantly inspired by our passionate players (that’s you!) and Game Changers. We receive feedback and requests almost every day about making changes, bugs fixes and implementing new features and events to make The Sims Mobile the best it can be. In our latest update, we’ve delivered something for all types of players to enjoy – stylist Simmers, builder Simmers and storytelling Simmers – we can’t wait to see how you express your creativity with the fun content coming your way.

Photo Mode

Surprise – you read it correctly! Its one of our most asked for features – a ‘Photo Mode’ screenshot feature has arrived. Now you can take photos of your latest interior styling, hosting experiences of your social parties and even set the mood with a day to nighttime cycle setting.

To experience this highly anticipated camera mode, all you have to do to access the photo tool wherever Build Buy mode is accessible, is open ‘Build Buy’ mode. A new button will be visible on the bottom left hand side of the ‘Build Buy’ screen will appear which removes the UI menu completely! Line up your shot and press your own phone screenshot function to capture your special moments of your Sims. This will save the image to your phones gallery for you to share to social media whenever you want! Show your photos to the SimGurus using the hashtag #TheSimsMobile!

Fourth Level Build Mode

Big houses, big dreams! Since the ‘Raise the Roof’ update earlier this year, you’ve enjoyed the luxury of expanding your Sim’s establishments by up to 3 floors – now we’re introducing a fourth level to renovate your multistory mansions even higher!

The fourth level build mode is available at Level 30 and costs 200,000 Simoleons. You must first have unlocked second and third story access. Visit the Build Buy menu while you’re inside the house you want to renovate and find the Fourth Level access in the Floor Levels build menu.

The multi-level feature is permanent to the base game and is available to all players that have passed the tutorials and up to Level 4. If you’re Level 4, you can early unlock the multi-level feature for SimCash (premium currency) if you want to skip to it. But for new players second level build access unlocks at Level 14 and third level build access unlocks at Level 25 without paying premium currency.

Design A Games & Hobby Room

Did you take part in our Player Survey a few weeks ago? The results are in! You told us that you want to see more games & hobby room items in our future updates, so we’ve based a Sweet Treat Showdown event around a ‘Dream Garage’ theme!

Players will be able to transform a garage space from basic to man cave with a wide range of rewards with everything you need from tools to decor. Even though there are no cars in The Sims Mobile at this stage, that doesn’t mean that’s how you have to use a garage space!

Think about it – you don’t need the same things for a man cave as they would for an auto workspace. It’s easy to get pigeonholed into traditional or common garage uses, so The Sims Mobile have made the possibilities endless!

For example, builder and stylist-Simmers will love brainstorming what they’ll be doing with this space and how the theme will play into their time in the garage –  create a library, entertainment room, playroom and more!

‘Dream Garage’ Sweet Treat Showdown

Completing the ‘Dream Garage’ Sweet Treat Showdown to have the ability to earn hobby room décor like a foosball table, bean bag, mudroom unit, ottoman bench, wall mounted tools, bucket with cleaning products, dungarees outfit, cabinets and counters, plus a grand prize of a brand-new animated bi-fold garage door!

Grand Prizes:

Theories about The Sims 4’s Next Game Pack

279

Yesterday thesims.com accidentally revealed the icon for The Sims 4’s upcoming Game Pack, which you can see down below:

Theories about The Sims 4’s Next Game Pack

Considering that this might be one of the most vague icons in The Sims 4 series there are already so many theories out there speculating what the next Game Pack will be. Right now we have some official information from The Sims Team that they’ve shared. Let’s begin with the future cube:

  • Side by side. Sure. Spaced out. Yup.Stack ‘em up? Hmm.
  • The most popular destination to elope is not yet known.

We also have some vague information from the 6-month Roadmap that The Sims Team revealed back in April 2020:

Another group on our team is currently focused on our next Game Pack. This pack is a major first for us, and we are super eager to share it with all of you later this year.

Twitter user @Millow__ also made a high quality recreation of the next Game Pack icon, which you can check out below:

Theories about The Sims 4’s Next Game Pack

The theories already began all over the community! Although there are so many guesses and we won’t know for sure what the pack is all about until it gets revealed, the two popular theories seem to be taking the lead: Star Wars / Space-themed Game Pack and a Winter Vacation-themed Game Pack.

The theory about a Star Wars themed Game Pack is circling around because of the “3 suns” in the Game Pack icon, which is a known thing for the world of Batuu, a fictional world inside of the Star Wars universe.

Theories about The Sims 4’s Next Game Pack

The Sims Forum member EliasVersace also made an icon comparison of what the Game Pack icon could be referring to:

The other theory is a Winter Vacation type of Game Pack. It’s known that The Sims Team has been thinking about this idea from their January 2020 Survey, where they suggested certain Snow Activities.

The Sims Forum Member onverser also made a suggestion of what the icon could be referring to, which is a snow cabin, 3 snowballs on the top and a snowy mountain next to the side:

Theories about The Sims 4’s Next Game Pack

There are also some other theories circling around the community but we won’t know for sure until the pack gets revealed.

Considering that The Sims Team’s 6-month roadmap was released back in April 2020, we could be expecting this game pack to be announced and released by the end of September 2020!

What do you think this Game Pack is all about? Do you agree with the theories? Let us know in the comments!

The Sims 4 now has more than 30 million players!

3

EA has released their Fiscal Year 2021 report for their first quarter which lasted from April till July 2020. In this report EA states that they’ve had one of the strongest quarters yet, with The Sims 4 also breaking a record for a first quarter of their fiscal year.

In their earnings release they’ve stated that The Sims 4 has generated more than 30 milion players life-to-date across all platforms including PC and Consoles. The amount of active players total has also reached a record high for this quarter.

You can read the full report for The Sims down below:

  • The Sims continues to resonate with more players around the world. The Sims 4 now has more than 30 million players life-to-date across all platforms, and daily, weekly and monthly active player totals in the game all reached record highs for a first quarter. Our Sims mobile games had an excellent Q1 as well. The creative and inclusive nature of The Sims experience on any device is truly unique in all of gaming, and we’re especially proud of the way it helps players find community and express themselves during culturally challenging times.
  • Players in our communities for The Sims, Apex, Star Wars and more are building relationships through our games, and we expect them to be with us for a long time to come
  • We also just launched The Sims Spark’d on TBS and Buzzfeed, our first-ever reality competition TV show. Seamlessly integrating entertaining player stories and gameplay, alongside weekly challenges for Sims 4 players, it’s an entirely new and unique way to create competition. It shows the innovation we can bring to the esports space with our franchises, and we’re very excited by the fan reaction to date.
  • Engagement was broad-based, with net bookings for live services at extraordinary levels for FIFA, Madden, Apex Legends, the Sims and our mobile titles.
  • Live services & other net bookings were $1.103 billion, up $416 million from the prior year. This extraordinary result is a consequence of the years of work we’ve invested in building teams, processes and content for our titles, which delivered strength across our portfolio. FIFA, Madden, Apex Legends, and The Sims all grew very strongly.
  • FIFA Mobile, SimCity, The Sims Free Play and more all showed growth of a similar magnitude.

The Sims 4’s Future Cube is giving out New Content Hints

180

You might have heard about the Future Cube speculation mill that started rolling a few months ago when SimGurus started tweeting out cryptic hints for Simmers to check out the Future Cube object in The Sims 4.

Basically, what The Sims Team has done then is that they’ve added a new interaction on the Future Cube called “Ask About Future”. This interaction included some cryptic hints related to, what’s now confirmed to be candles from The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle, Ladders from Eco Lifestyle’s Base Game Update and Nifty Knitting Stuff Pack.

  • Self-organization will be key to a happy future.
  • Your future is… not bright, but illuminated… probably to an intensity of 0.981 candelas.
  • The threads of your future knit together in a wave of darkness.
  • Climbing to the top one rung at a time!

Just a few moments ago SimGuruGeorge has tweeted out a picture of the Future Cube, probably hinting for us to check out the Future Cube for some new answers.

Interestingly enough the Future Cube now provides new answers that seem to be hinting at possible new content coming to the world of The Sims 4.

The Sims 4’s Future Cube is giving out New Content Hints

For this specific reason I went to the text string files of The Sims 4 to see what’s specifically updated and I can confirm that the developers have removed previous hints for content that’s been released and added these following ones:

  • Side by side. Sure. Spaced out. Yup.Stack ‘em up? Hmm.
  • The most popular destination to elope is not yet known.

Some of the same hints have also remained on the Future Cube, such as:

  • I see a gnome wielding a frozen rabbit riding atop a llama into battle against an udder’ly impressive foe.
  • Without a doubt, that thing we talked about will come to be, as all of the signs are pointing to the answer that we agreed upon in our last discussion.
  • Your uncertainty, certainly shall become certain, under certain situations in no uncertain terms.
  • The future is soon™.
  • Your future looks pixelated.
  • Somebody is definitely going to get exactly what they want.

What’s your guess about the new content that The Sims Team is hinting at? Let us know in the comments!

The Sims 4 Nifty Knitting: 5 Builds for Sims who luv2knit!

The Sims 4 Nifty Knitting: 5 Builds for Sims who luv2knit!

Hanging plants galore, pastel heaven and rocking chairs, what’s not to love about Nifty Knitting?! Here are 5 nifty knitting builds that have caught my eye since the release of the latest stuff pack.

Fabflubs – Knitting Shop

Twitter: fabflubs79

I love literally everything that fabflubs builds, but I absolutely adore this! This adorable little knitting shop is the perfect addition to any crafty save files. The colour scheme is just so perfect for the theme, and I really appreciate the attention to detail and all the little clutter items. This build really does look like it’s been plucked out of real life; I really like how they have added certain items outside to make it look super realistic, like the parking space for the car and the bikes. There’s even a city map. postbox and parking meter!

Kriint – Colourful Trailer Starter

I kind of have a thing for tiny colourful homes, and this is no exception! Firstly, my favourite part of this cute little trailer is the glass roof, it just looks so cool coming down the side of the trailer! The little doghouse outside the front is also super charming and adorable. I could see myself sat on the bench in the front garden, or sitting next to that nice big window with the sun beaming through, knitting stuff to sell on Plopsy! If you’re looking for a starter home full of cozy charm, this is the one for you.

Cassielle – Tiny Knitting

Adorable house alert! The things that struck me initially with this build was the pastel colour scheme and that cute little plant area out the front (I am a sucker for plants). This tiny home is jam-packed full of charm and everything your sim could need, but doesn’t feel cramped at all; they’ve even managed to fit in 3 beds! The back garden/bbq area is really different to anything I have ever seen before for a tiny home, and really gives you a sense that the property is actually a lot bigger.

Bethlesimmer – Tiny Home

The Sims 4 Nifty Knitting: 5 Builds for Sims who luv2knit!

Twitter: Bethlesimmer

If there was ever a tiny build I wish I had built myself, it’s this one! It’s really difficult to build a fully functional tiny build that’s not too cramped, but I’d say this is perfection. Like all of these builds, it’s colour scheme is stunning (which is a reason I love this pack so much). The mix and match with the tiny living and knitting stuff packs really compliment each other, and I especially love the little craft corner. The build also has a decent sized bathroom which is refreshing for a tiny home. Don’t get me started on all the plants outside, a literal dream!

Paulpancakee – DIY Apartment

If I was in the market for a super chic apartment in San Myshuno, this would be first on my list. It’s ideal for the crafty simmers amongst us! The colour scheme throughout the whole house is perfect and even fitted with a super decent sized kitchen and 2 bedrooms. The clutter and attention to detail is *chefs kiss*. The crafting area has to be my favourite part of this apartment, I can’t imagine a better place to get creative.
