We’re starting a new series on our channel where we’ll be talking about The Sims with a wide variety of simmers. The first person we’re talking Sims with is Christine Sydelko, a YouTube comedian and a long time Sims fan.

The Sims Team has launched a new promotion where you can get free rewards in both The Sims 4 and The Sims Mobile!
All that’s required for you is to type in the phone number in The Sims 4 Main Menu and you’ll unlock the brand new Interactive Family Portrait. For more information about unlocking the family portrait and the interactions that come with it, check out the video below.
Redeeming the Family Portrait in The Sims 4 will also give you new rewards in The Sims Mobile. Follow the video down below to learn how to redeem the Loyalty Rewards in The Sims Mobile:
A new event for The Sims Mobile is here! Outfit your Sims in the coolest ASOS fashions by completing quests and events to earn ASOS tokens, then exchange them for exclusive, limited-time ASOS clothing pieces. Can you complete the entire fashion collection?
After updating your game, check out your quests. There will be a gold, limited-time event quest called Catwalk This Way, which has 11 parts. To kick off the event, complete this quest by going to the Market Square to promote the upcoming ASOS fashion show that will be taking place soon.
Whoah! The Market Square looks different. A fashion show has taken over the area, but it looks like they’re not set up, yet. Everything is covered in sheets. Tap the pink ASOS icon in this area to begin the promotional event for the fashion show. Just like any other event, you can complete this event by performing various actions, or you can let your Sim do the event on their own and come back later to collect your rewards.
Cool, you got some ASOS tokens from promoting the fashion show and completing the first part of the event quest. What do you do with those tokens? Spend them on hot new fashions, of course! Tap the ASOS icon in the top-right corner of your screen at any time during this event to be taken to the ASOS event page. On this page, you’ll be able to exchange your ASOS tokens for new clothing pieces under the Rewards tab. Under the Activities tab, you can see all the activities your Sims can participate in to earn ASOS tokens during the event.
If you’re not really the fashion-forward sort, you’ll be happy to know that the new event isn’t just about clothes! Progressing in the event unlocks brand new career stories and will even allow you to unlock the new Photography career early! You’ll have to dive into everything the ASOS Fashion Show offers to discover these exciting new gameplay rewards, however, so get questing and strut your stuff on the catwalk!
If you’ve run out of limited-time quests and aren’t sure what to do, check the Activities tab on the event screen. Remember, you can get there at any time during the event by tapping the ASOS icon in the top-right corner of your screen. The Activities tab will show you all the events you can participate in to earn more ASOS tokens.

The Sims Mobile team has released the official trailer for the ASOS X The Sims Mobile Event, which lasts from April 19th to May 2nd 2018!
The Sims Mobile’s ASOS Fashion Event is finally live!
In the next 13 days, all until May 2nd, you’ll be able to play with specific tasks, earn ASOS tokens and spend them on exclusive new ASOS clothing! As you do that you’ll also progress and earn new heirlooms and stories which we covered in the video below.
We’ll cover all the latest details about this event on Sims Community so stay tuned!
The Sims Mobile’s ASOS crossover event is happening sometime around April 19th, and it seems that some Simmers have already got a chance to play with the latest event.
David S, one of the admins of The Sims Mobile Fan Group on Facebook has shared the first screens of the ASOS x The Sims Mobile Event, which is going to last for 13 days.
According to these screens you’ll have to progress through the Event Tracker in order to unlock certain rewards such as Fashion Points, the Photography Career Early Unlock and the exclusive ASOS clothing made for your Sims in The Sims Mobile. You’ll be able to progress by earning ASOS Tokens, which can be obtained by completing the Limited Time Quest, regular events and purchasing the exclusive ASOS clothing.

Today we saw a new patch that fixed a selection of game bugs. Not only that there were a few new additions to the game as well that you may or may not have noticed. You can check out the patches notes for today’s patch here.
The Insane trait for Sims has had a name change and the trait will now be known as the Erratic trait instead.
When the Jungle Adventures Game Pack came out a lot of Simmers requested that the trio of plants called Potted Jungle Plants Varietal be separated. The Sims team have heard the requests and now all three of the potted plants are available separately and in a variety of colour schemes!
You may also notice that the Lonely Potted Tree also has a little reference to The Sim Supply too!
Another addition from the Jungle Adventures Game Pack is the new Forgotten Island of Omisca island counter.
These couple of Build Mode items we covered not too long ago in a previous post (check it out here) and both items had a placeholder name but now both have rightly received official names.

Download The Sims Mobile and get a Family Portrait for your The Sims 4 household!
With the latest update for The Sims 4, The Sims Team included a subtle “hint” for what’s to come.
In one of the .package files (ClientDeltaBuild8.package to be precise) we’ve found a NEW Free Pack icon, among the Grim’s Ghoulish Guitar and Holiday Celebration Free Packs.
The icon shows a male and a female character holding hands inside a picture frame.
We’re currently snooping around through the game files and will make sure to let you know if we find anything else related to this pack!
The Sims Team has released a brand new Update for The Sims 4 on PC and Mac!
To download the latest version of The Sims 4, simply open your Origin program and if the game doesn’t update automatically, right click on The Sims 4 and select ”Update”.
In case you have Mods or Custom Content, the game will automatically disable them for you after first launching The Sims 4 after the update. To re-enable all your Mods and Custom Content, select the Settings option in the Menu and select Settings. Under the”Other” section you’ll find the ”Enable Custom Content and Mods” option. Check it and restart your game in order for it to take effect!

We have just a few things to share, so let’s jump right into them.
General Issues
- The Get Engaged whim can now be satisfied by choosing to propose.
- The engagement however will be satisfied only by the whims of the participants.
- Woohoo partners will no longer be chastised for sleeping in the Sims bed after woohoo.
- Sims that you know that are mixologists, caterers, or entertainers will now be available to hire for Social Events your Sim chooses to host.
- Check Toddler has been checked over and should be more reliable when toddler checking.
- We addressed some queue dropping and route fail issues that could occur with the check toddler interaction.
- Happy Toddler and Top-Notch Toddler traits now count towards the Most Interesting Sim in the World achievement.
- We have removed the female preference for holding toddlers in family portraits.
- Sims related to the toddler are now of equal likelihood to carry the toddler in the portrait.
- The “Debug” style will no longer be an available style filter in the Build and Create a Sim catalogs.
- While there was a movement amongst the design community to expand the notion of art, form, style, and fashion, it was ultimately deemed derivative of the work of Mugatu, and his Derelicte line.
Get to Work
- Receiving a citation will no longer cause your Sims arms to waive about uncontrollably.
Get Together
- Clubs that use the Play Cards rule, can now expect Sim club members to play cards.
Cats & Dogs
- The Split Panel Dresser and The Floatin’ Shelf bookshelf will no longer allow you to place objects floating behind them.
- This does not impact the move objects cheat, but in the case of these two objects they had slots for object placement incorrectly floating in space behind them.
- We addressed an issue that could cause an Error Code 131 result upon loading a home where a pet had run away. You should no longer see Error Code 131.
Jungle Adventure
- Authenticated artifacts will now maintain their authenticated appearance after being placed from My Library.
Romantic Garden
- The Don’t Look at Me Monkey Bars has quality score information.
- Fun is 7, Motor Skill is plus, and Children are only.
Vintage Glamour
- The 16th Century Monte Vista Globe Bar now ALSO has quality score information!
- Drink quality is 4, and Mixology Skill is plus.
Laundry Day
- DIY Sink and Bai l’Est Galvanized Sink now have hygiene and reliability ratings!
- They are 5 and 5, and 5 and 5.
- Adding clean clothes to a pile of dirty clothes will no longer prevent the Sims from washing the clothing. And adding dirty clothes to a pile of clean clothes will no longer prevent the Sims from washing the clothing.
- Dirty + dirty = dirty. Dirty + clean = dirty. Clean + clean = clean.
- However dirty + clean + clean + dirty * clean + dirty, is still dirty.
- But, 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 * 0 + 1 = 4
- Children will no longer stretch when performing the Sniff Fresh Clothing interaction.
- Also, children are no longer allowed to perform the Sniff Fresh Clothing interaction…
- …because they were stretching.
My First Pet
- The Feed Treat interaction now has a chance of failure.
- Anyone see the Wreck-It Ralph 2 trailer?
- Just curious… no reason.
- My First Pet Stuff Postcards now have a cost between 30 and 60 Simoleons.
- We addressed an issue with Living Like We’re Young in the Pop Station that was preventing the audio from playing.
- It now plays.

Modder thepancake1 has decided to revive his The Sims 4 Multiplayer Project that he initiated 2 years ago. The initial version of the mod had some limitations and the modder decided to step off the project for some time, but he’s finally back with a version of this mod that’s very promising.
At the moment you’ll be able to play with 2 people in real life using The Sims 4 Multiplayer Mod, but the modder has told us that there could be an upgrade in a few days raising the bar for a few more people to join the servers. This means that you’ll be able to interact with other people’s Sims and yes, even chat with them through Sims notifications.
The mod will let you host your own multiplayer event at your desired lot and you’ll be able to invite in multiple, real life people that you want to join your lot with their Sims.
You’ll be able to send your chat message by just clicking on a Sim by a different player and sending your desired message that will later appear in the notifications panel.

The mod is currently still being polished, tested out and expanded, with a release date aiming at sometime in early May.

EA has just released the first details for their EA Play Press Conference, which is taking place at the Hollywood Palladium at 11AM PDT / 7PM BST / 8PM CET on June 9th.
In case you don’t know The Sims 4 and The Sims Mobile will also be present at the event. We should also expect for The Sims Team to reveal more about their “Next Sims 4 Experience” during the press conference.
At 11 a.m. PDT on Saturday, June 9, 2018, we’ll kick off one of the biggest video game entertainment events of the year.
