For those of you who’ve been reading a lot of articles about The Sims 4 System Requirements, I just want to point out that some of them contain false or misunderstood info about The Sims 4 System Requirements. There is no way that requirements can be set for a game that’s still in pre-alpha!
SimGuruGraham gave more info about The Sims 4 Requirements back in October:
Ah, Sims 4 system requirements… unfortunately I don’t have any I can share other than saying we’re aiming at having Sims 4 run smoothly across a wide variety of systems. Optimizing is one of the last things that happens during game development; until that occurs we won’t nail down our final minimum/suggested requirements.
With that being said, we can expect info about The Sims 4 System Requirements in Q2 of 2014.
Until then, don’t forget that we still have lots of great things coming for The Sims 3! 😀

I would love a mass e-mail to go out to those who subscribe to receive it that contains all system requirements for the Sims 4 once they’re known, along with optimal system specs for those of us who have a custom built gaming machine. My system was built for the Sims 3 which concentrated on the best graphics card for the game. I’m sure I’m going to need to upgrade my system for the Sims 4, as the graphics look like they’ll be much better! The sooner I can get that information, the sooner I can start upgrading my system in anticipation of the release of the Sims 4. 😀
