I’m so excited for the hairstyles and the outfits! Also sledding!!
This is fucking bullshit lmao.. Should have literally been included in Seasons but oh well, we all know that would have been too good to be true because its’ EA’s greedy ass we’re talking about here.

We havent even seen this trailer yet and if they would have added this to seasons people would complain it isnt an autumn/spring/summer like world. So why are you even here. Also adding this to seasons would be a lot for a single ep with the current ep standards.

I mean no one is forcing you to buy it, to follow sims news or anything of that nature. Also it would’ve completely blown the seasons budget to prioritize winter items like this (animations and all) and you’d be one of the first people to complain. This is a nice change of a world being wintery year round instead of summer (if you have basegame only) and an incentive for anyone to buy seasons now that it’s on sale if they haven’t gotten it yet to have a bigger experience as such with past sims games.

Well to be fair, in past sims series, winter and winter actitivies were all available in the single seasons expansion, with a ton of new animations to boot. And with no budgets blown, as far as I’m aware. The newest series of a game is supposed to be capable of more, not less, than its predecessors.

Actually the sims 4 seasons includes winter activities like in the previous sims games.
The sims 2 had snowball fights, building snowmen and a skating rink just like the sims 4.
Only the sims 3 has snowboarding included in seasons and it was just a half pipe.
Therefore, this could be an interesting pack as it has gameplay that hasn’t really been seen in a sims game . Furthermore, it seems like some of the activities are available for multiple ages. This is a nice change to the previous packs which were a disappointment for me.

You do realize that this game was built on the engine for a failed mobile game and not an engine made for pc games this resulted in the gurus having to redo several things, had to add things that should’ve been in base game on launch like pools and limits what can be done since it’s more expensive and time consuming with continuous deadlines. This information has been out for a few years now about the sims 4 which is why content is water down and it boggles my mind that people still act shocked or annoyed as if that truth hasn’t been looking at us in the face. The gurus have even said this and other sim players found proof in the coding to support this.

b-but in the map leak there is a new lot icon? and it looks like a hotel?

They actually states there wouldn’t be farms, babies, or horses. They never said hotels wouldn’t be in the next expansion.
The sims on the left of the teaser image kind of spook me out! I don’t know why but there eyes and faces don’t look like sims 4 sims (They look like the mobile sims or something) and it kind of freaks me out!
This is going to be great

Or so we think!
Awesome I love these kind of packs
Well I see a pagoda so it’s at least a little bit East Asian inspired. And you would think that with all of the mountain activities that it’s going to be a chalet or a hotel as base camp. My hope is for tubing in addition to tobogganing. As well as skis instead of just snowboards. I now that I’m thinking about Beijing winter games is coming in two years and the PyeongChang game Winter games happened two years ago so that could have been the inspiration of this.
I hoping for Werewolves… but okay

I hope we eventually get werewolves too.
Exciting!
I think they should have named it ‘Mountain Escape’ or something, people will focus on the ‘snowy’ aspect and demand this should have been included with Seasons. I imagine the snowy aspect of the word will just be ground terrain, and if you have Seasons installed you’ll get real snow fall. Similar to if you live in Strangerville it’s always sunny, but with Seasons you get heatwaves.
Loving the Asian inspired buildings in the background, it’s great to see more diversity in their worlds rather than just green America, or desert America

People are already demanding that it should’ve been in seasons lol. Mind you one of the top complaints is always about things being water down. I don’t think these same people have thought about how water down seasons would’ve been had they chosen to add these activities on top of what seasons had or a new world (which is often far more time consuming and likely more expensive than animation). Sims 4 has been around for years now and some people just don’t get it. I wished the gurus were allowed to break down their budget for people to understand. Even after they did the break down (twice) about stuff packs some people still act clueless then again some of them do the same with cc creators who make their own meshes.
Looks cool. Can’t wait for the trailer.
There better be a hotel option on this. I’m rather getting tired of off the wall, random packs
I will buy this only for chinese/japanese stuff

People will complain that it “should have been included with Seasons”, that “it should be a Game Pack”, but TBH I’m quite excited for this!!
a certain youtuber accidentally(?) leaked the world map. 3 areas, 14 lots and there is a hotel lot(!!)
search “sims 4 map” on twitter to see it.

As it seems like Japanese-inspired expansion with snow and mountain, I’m happy if it includes onsen, hot spring tub.
