Many players are reporting that they're unable to connect to the EA App launcher.

It's happening again. Players have just started reporting that the EA App is not working. If you open either the EA App (for Windows) or Origin (for Mac), you'll be greeted with a faulty server connection.
If you're playing The Sims 4 on EA App, you could be expecting difficulties with either The Gallery. Or just accessing the game at all.

Many have also started massively reporting the crashed EA App servers on the downdetector.com website. As you can see, a massive spike has just turned upwards:

The new crash of EA App and Origin servers has just recently happened. We're still waiting on the official statement from EA Help.
