We ask players what they think of the new expansion!

Now, the community has been alive talking about all the latest news from this past week, however, we want to have a closer look at some of the Sims 4 Horses reactions from players.

Just to recap, it has been a very exciting couple of weeks for The Sims. First up we saw the reveal of the Summer Roadmap which gave us an idea of what to expect over the coming months. Secondly, we saw the reveal trailer for The Sims 4 Horse Ranch expansion pack.

The Sims 4 Horses Reactions

Needless to say, the community had a lot to say once the reveal trailer was released. Overall, the response to the reveal trailer was mixed. While many players are excited to see Horses coming to The Sims 4, a number of players were also a little hesitant and would await more information from The Sims Team.

Recently, we reached out to the community via our Twitter account and asked players their thoughts!

It’s important to remember that so far, we have only seen the reveal trailer. There’s still a lot of information that we are yet to discover, as well as a glimpse at the upcoming gameplay.

I’m looking forward to it, I just hope that it’s not just a big empty world. The goats are adorable, and I like the look of the few bb items we saw and the nectar making. Need to see more though

I’m happy to finally have Native American representation in The Sims 4 and I’m a fan of this kind of desert world even if I would have preferred a Australian one
I want horses and nectar making from EA since so many years for The Sims 4, so I’m happy

i spend a lot of time around horses, & to me it looks like they put a lot of effort into this pack. horses are notoriously difficult to animate, but the horses we saw in the trailer looked much better than i expected! as an equestrian, i’m very excited for this pack!

This is only a snapshot of what players had to say in response to the reveal trailer. While looking at the responses to the tweet we shared and in general across social media, many players are waiting until we receive more information about the upcoming expansion before they share their more in-depth thoughts.

Behind The Sims

We also just had a new episode of the Behind The Sims release this week. It focused on a range of different topics from The Sims franchise however, we got a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes look at The Sims 4 Horse Ranch.

The fifteen-minute stream showed us some of the ways the team researched aspects of the new expansion, including getting up close and personal with horses at a local equestrian centre. We also got a glimpse at how the team worked on creating the animations for horses, including the odd glitch or two while working things out.
