How to Install the InZOI Update
The InZOI Update can be easily downloaded through the Steam launcher. Simply open the launcher and check for new updates through the right click on the game (if you haven’t enabled automatic downloads already). Since Mods are officially coming to InZOI later this Spring, you don’t have to worry yet about keeping your InZOI Mods up to date.

April 1st, 2025 Patch Notes

Patch Date: April 1, 2025 at 13:30 (UTC)
Game Version: 20250401.1483.W
Fixes:
- Adjusted lifespan rules so that only Zois in senior age groups may now pass away naturally.
- Previously, Zois could die of natural causes at relatively early ages based on realistic probabilities. However, we also believe it’s just as important for Creators to have time to bond with their characters and fully immerse themselves in their stories.
- With that in mind, we’ve updated the lifespan rules so you can spend more time with your Zois.
- Please note that this change only applies to newly created Zois via New Game. It does not affect existing save files or Zois already in progress.
- Fixed an issue where clothing remained dirty or damaged after washing under certain conditions.
- Resolved a crash issue that could occur intermittently in certain situations.
We are currently investigating the E01 and E04 errors occurring when uploading to Canvas, as well as other issues that have been reported by our Creators. Further updates will be shared as we learn more.
We will continue working to make inZOI more stable and enjoyable for everyone. Thank you, as always, for your continued support and valuable feedback.

Progress Report on Early Access from the Developer
Along with the new InZOI update is also a brand new announcement from Kjun on Discord. Where they revealed their next steps for releasing hotfix updates in April and long term plans for communication. Check it out in Kjun’s newest letter below:

Hello, Creators.
We have seen concerns in the community about the “short break” mentioned in my recent letter of gratitude to players. To be clear, the inZOI team’s “short break” was just two days of vacation. We apologize for causing worry with our vague wording.
We are aware of the wide range of feedback and improvement requests you have shared. Additional hotfix patches are scheduled for this week, and we are continuing to monitor feedback and develop builds. We are prioritizing fixing various bugs and issues that disrupt gameplay. But to reassure you about our dedication to making inZOI a better game, we would like to share our future update plans and how we will communicate them.
Short-Term InZOI Update Plans
As explained in our online showcase, we originally planned content updates for inZOI about once every two months during Early Access.
However, given the spirit of Early Access — completing the game together with you — we intend to quickly apply fixes for reported issues through hotfixes during April.
These short-term updates are smaller in scale compared to major updates, but we expect that rolling out content faster and incorporating feedback more promptly will have a more positive effect on your gameplay experience
Additionally, whenever we identify critical issues, we plan to keep addressing them through hotfixes. As mentioned, we want to stay true to our words about not taking advantage of the term “Early Access”, and show gratitude to those who purchased the game by continuing to release updates and maintain open communication.
We will continue to wait for and welcome your feedback.
Feedback Channels and Communication Plans
Our team is exploring more efficient ways to gather and organize feedback. We are also preparing a survey so that we can collect a wider range of opinions on future updates. We would greatly appreciate your participation. We are likewise examining new ways for two-way communication between the inZOI team and the community. The AMA we held in February was indeed a memorable experience for us, but we are also looking into other options that can better accommodate all time zones and languages.
Although we have launched multiple games and communicated with communities before, the passionate and large-scale global community of inZOI is a next-level experience for us, and we are going through some trial and error in finding the optimal means of communication.
Despite this, we want to express our sincere gratitude once again to all creators who continue to support the inZOI Team.
We will do our best to circle back with even more exciting news next time.
Thank you,
— Kjun
