We’re already getting a new Sims 4 Expansion Pack. And it’s next in line!
I didn’t expect that we’d be talking about The Sims 4 Expansion Pack 19 so soon, but here we are!
We’ve just concluded the latest Sims 4 Motherlode Season of content releases with the latest 3 official Kits that arrived yesterday. And simmers have already started asking questions about what’s next on The Sims 4 release roadmap for this year.
Luckily, we already have first reports on what EA is working on for the release roadmap.
The Sims 4 Expansion Pack 19 is next!
The latest report about EA and Maxis cooking up The Sims 4 Expansion Pack 19 comes from insider @anadius on Twitter. Who posted an alleged release order of The Sims 4 DLC content:
Right, forgot to say. The 3 kits released yesterday have numbers 96, 97 and 98. EP19 has number 99 – that probably won’t change and it will be the next DLC. And EP20 has number 102, but that might still change. So there will be at minimum 2 DLCs between EP19 and EP20.

What does this mean? By the looks of it, it seems that The Sims 4 Expansion Pack 19 is the next DLC to be announced and released by EA. This wouldn’t be the first, nor the second time that a forecast from this insider turned out to be true.
And what about Expansion Pack 20?
This part of insider’s finding could be subject to change. However, it seems that there are going to be two more DLC releases after The Sims 4 Expansion Pack 19 comes out. After which there will be The Sims 4 Expansion Pack 20 falling next in line.
The release information about The Sims 4 Expansion Pack 19 being next is definitely more likely to happen. Still, we might be looking at another year with 3 Expansion Pack releases. Businesses & Hobbies and two other ones put in the behind-the-scenes roadmap of releases.
When is Expansion Pack 19 getting revealed?
There’s currently no further information about The Sims 4 Expansion Pack 19’s reveal date, release date and features. All we know is what we’ve reported in the title – the EP 19 release is next in line! There’s been talks and rumors about Bands coming to The Sims 4 this year, but that’s still a different speculation altogether.

What a weird schedule if you think that the next roadmap would either have 2 eps on it or just 3 dlc after flooding us with content in the first few months. Unless there’s going to be more creator kits that aren’t included in the count?
I don’t give a damn at this point! All I care about is the fact that I can’t even get the game running because of the last update two days ago. It crashes as soon as I turn it on. And yes, even without mods! A lot of people have this problem and the only thing they’ve figured out is that it works without save positions. Possibly with them subsequently returning to the folder, but often just removing the most recent position. Plus it only works for some people. This is an outrage.
Doesn’t ever crash for me. Update your system. And get rid of mods
Im right there with him, I had to trash all my mods and cc but I still have issued with my game. I tried repairing it and reinstalling it. I have base game objects that appear multicolored with question marks on them. I can’t put any cc in because any lots with cc on it won’t load.
Did you repair your game after deleting the local thumb cache? That can store things removed from your mods folder and is good practice when using mods. Maybe check out the official forums and make a post with pictures? You’re more likely to get help there plus see if others had any solutions you can try. You’re honestly in a better position than me because my save file is corrupt and eating at itself each. So I have to save everything (I have several DLCs but many sims and lots because I have unlimited settings) before I can even play again.
Did you delete the local thumb cache and repair your game? Were your mods removed before doing so? Sometimes you also need to reset the mods folder. Unfortunately some people with mods (or sometimes custom content) can cause their own issues with the game if it’s not updated before they repair. Way too often I come across people whose game crashes on restarting because they didn’t wait for the updates to mods. I haven’t heard of a large portion of people having their game crashing and usually when that’s the case sim blogs or YT will mention that and EA would typically respond with a hot fix.

also sometime u gotta take the whole mod folder out the game last the game regenerate a new mods folder and move ya mods back in leaveing behind the resource file

I don’t think the game is sustainable enough to handle another expansion pack. It has become a total mess with the latest EPs—and don’t even get me started on For Rent, which has been one of the most damaging failures for our save files. So, I honestly don’t see how adding a new EP, SP or even kits could work for the game’s future. And before you start calling me a hater, I used to pray and hope for more content like for example, I was rooting for more entertainment careers like bands, singers, models, more instruments, etc. But now, I can’t even play the game without encountering a new bug, like just yesterday, while I was playing, all my Sims suddenly froze in a public space…like, out of nowhere, and I had to restart my game but unfortunately, this kind of issue has been happening more frequently since the last updates. So, for me, it’s really concerning to even think what is going to be the direction of the sims especially since we’re not going to have a next generation.
The game is fine! You’re all running it on crap hardware. Get a life or go play Inzoi.
It doesn’t crash for me either and I use Mods. I just make sure the major mods are updated every patch. Just go to luthienrising’s thread on the EA Forums. They keep up with everything that has been updated. Make sure you go to the latest thread they created.
I could care less about Bands not on my radar. I have-not bought anything since Hobby EP. That was a big disappointment and so was the Life and Death Pack.
