Maxis studios is warming up for another Roadmap of Content Releases for TS4. With The Sims 4 Motherlode Season being the next on the list, we finally know what to expect in the coming months from the team. Let's dive into the Roadmap!

Official The Sims 4 Motherlode Season Roadmap
The new Sims 4 Motherlode Season Roadmap is officially out, finally confirming the Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack. Along with a Release Date set for March 6th, 2025. There are going to be 3 new Sims 4 Kits as well on May 1st, 2025, as well as a special unannounced surprise set for February 25th, 2025.
Here's everything from The Sims 4 Motherlode Season that you should expect from February to May 2025:
The official Sims Website confirmed additional suspicion in regards to new content coming with the Motherlode Season. Confirming that new Sims 4 Base Game content updates are also expected as a part of the current new Roadmap.

As we've been reporting before, there are possibly more Sims 4 surprises awaiting for us during The Sims 4 Motherlode Season. Such as the Pre-Patch for The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack, which should deliver some new Base Game Features and Improvements.

I love kits!! Im a builder along with being a player! So im excited for those! Really excited about what the secret reveal is going to be. And mildly anticipating the EP!, but could become more intrigued as more is revealed.

I think the 2/25 reveal will either be Create a World (too optimistic), or the return of a previous Sims world.

My bet is on the burglar coming base game. That “Neighborhood Crime Watch, No Suspicious” is way too big of a hint, but I can’t see them being a feature of the pack due to its themes.

From what I can see are my guesses: pottery, tailoring, tattoos and repairs (so maybe, just maybe motorized vehicles). But then 2 kits say golden years which is on the map as a tailer and restoration workshop what is on the map as a repair workshop. But then just hope those kits go with the new EP

they’re not releasing cars, they’ve told us a million times it’s not happening. you guys already complain about the game crashes and bugs, how are you going to handle this if the car breaks? and if we get cars, it’s going to be just like the broom sticks, they pull away and you barely get to enjoy it, and then it’s a loading screen. you guys will complain about that too. a sourde had already said on reddit sims group that it’s never going to happen

there isn’t going to be cars, ever. it’s time to let go of that. it’s not happening. like Paul said, a reddit user on sims group said they’re not ever going to do it. it’ll be just a loading screen. why waste money on that? you can use the cars in build mode or make the toy cars bigger and enjoy it in your lot if you want it to be a toy

1) And they’ve never said burglars couldn’t be coming in this update either. We’re allowed to make guesses.
2) Dude, are you seriously using two usernames to contradict people? I can tell both you “Paul” and “Rachel” are the same person. You’re posting minutes apart basically the same message with the same writing style.
So? Neither Simmerinsx nor I even mentioned cars. We’re only talking about the possibility of burglars here.
And, really, why are you so set on proving everyone here cars are impossible when literally no one said anything about expecting functional cars in the next pack? Only that some of us hope for the “junk car restoration”, which doesn’t need to be functional after being fixed, and for some “motorized vehicles”, which could be cars but also motorcycles, which are absolutely possible as they’d work just like the bikes.

Different things are important to different people. For some players, cars are at the top of their list, while others might give more importance to more occult types, and some people may even want burglars, or mundane things like functional landline phones, more than anything. Different strokes for different folks.

Guessing by that flyer with the townhouse I suppose the world in the new EP will take inspiration from the either Dutch or Belgian cities. So maybe a cool neighborhood with lots of canals and the possibility to travel by boat?

I am still hoping for an open world to be able to actually visit friends live. I was having this discussion with my friend the other day. It would be so nice to visit and talk. See what builds they have. Another cool idea would be to learn different languages, lol. Being taught English as a second language
