The new indie project that we’ve been reporting about for years is getting its first Early Access launch on Steam on May 25th, and we want to celebrate this occassion with a fun giveaway! We’re celebrating 13 years of Sims Community and want to throw a party for a promising new life simulator coming our way.
The entry rules are very simple, and the giveaway is open for everyone with a Steam account. And, preferrably, for everyone who can meet the minimum system requirements and start playing right away!
Extra chances of winning a copy wait for you in our dedicated giveaways on Sims Community Instagram and Twitter social media in partnership with the Paralives Team.

This giveaway ends six hours before Paralives launches first in Early Access on May 25th, 2026 at 12PM CEST. We want to make sure we can select the winners and exchange contacts so the game is given around the same time of its launch. We’ve also included a handy countdown below which lets you exactly when the giveaway entry period is over!

I’m definitely excited for all of it!! But I am especially excited for Build Mode since there’s SO MANY ways to customize objects. I love decorating the houses and lots so this will be game changing for me!
Live mode for sure.
If Sims 4 lacks something it is the gameplay and from what we saw in the gameplay trailer they’re really aiming for it to be fun and just as important as the buildmode and paramaker!

Iโm most excited for build mode. I love interior design and the fact that the game features so much creativity makes me beyond excited to get started. Being able to customize certain items so they can accent each other means thereโs endless gameplay and it can be an amazing creative outlet. Of course, Iโm exited to experience all of the gameplay, but being able to let my imagination run wild, and get creative in new ways other games havenโt allowed me to, makes me so excited to get started!
Build mode definitely!! I enjoy building in games and the build mode in paralives seems so good, I can’t wait to try it!
I’ve been following the game since 2019, and I’m really excited to try out the whole game, but if I had to pick just one thing, it would definitely be the build mode and its endless possibilities.

I’m so excited! I want to try out all 3 but I especially want to try out build mode to see if I can build some 1920’s style houses/lots. I’ve been making a sims 4 20’sish save file and it’s so tricky without customisation tools. Of course the next thing to try is gameplay! Thank you for offering this giveaway.
Im excited about all of the customization freedom that we will have with the paras and world, the personality development you can have, and the story each other aspects we saw in the trailer are so fun โค๏ธ I love how detailed you can get with exactly how you want your gameplay to go!

Paramaker and Live mode Parafolk have unique personalities that make the game look like so much fun to play and really add depth to the gameplay!
I’m excited for every part of this game! I know I want to mess around with creating a Parafolk the most, but I know I want to try the building mode second! I’m excited to see how unique furniture and decor can be.
I am sososososo excited for everything about this game oh my goodness! I’m most excited to try the paramaker and customise the characters (especially the height slider!!!)
Paralives looks fine, but it also looksโฆ boring. Not bad, just a basic life simulator. What made The Sims (especially 1 and 2) special wasnโt โlife simโ stuff, it was the whimsy and chaos: weird NPCs, surreal humor, unpredictable AI, and that slightly unhinged Maxis energy.
Paralives feels like a clone of The Sims 4 grounded vibe instead of taking inspiration from the original games that were actually magical. I wish someone would make a Simsโlike that brings back the weird, chaotic, whimsical tone of the early series.

From what I’ve seen so far, I am beyond excited for the build mode. The fact that we can do so much customization in comparison to other life sims is so exciting! I’m also excited to see how the pets related mechanics work, from the paramaker to live mode.

i’m excited about all aspects of the game, i think it could be become one of my top favorite life sim games. i’m so excited to try out build mode because i feel like it’s so refreshing to build something without almost to no restrictions plus im so excited to try out the color wheel option too since it was my favorite part when i would play sims 3 when i was kid!!
