On the dot, another round of free & paid maker packs have released for the summer, the third out of a planned six drops as part of a "pilot program" for a limited time! We're still unsure if these packs will be removed after release, or if they will become part of or introduced as paid content, so make sure to get them while they're free!

The two free maker packs dropped today are a Create-A-Sim Maker Pack by Sims 4 Marketplace Maker Boschiana, and a Build Mode Maker Pack by Sims 4 Marketplace Maker Syboulette. Both include two items, the prior being swimwear sets and the latter being bedding and a potted plant. As per usual, one paid maker pack also dropped, a Build Mode Maker Pack by Sims 4 Marketplace Maker Simspancake. It has a total of 31 items for 500 Moola, which is in line with both the pricing and object amount of the creator kits that were released prior to the marketplace. While it is a total of 500 Moola, it seems to be the largest maker pack dropped to date, with 31 total items instead of somewhere in the 20s that other maker packs have reached.
No matter how you feel about the Sims 4 Marketplace and virtual currency in general, We do recommend going in and grabbing free stuff while it is available always, even if you're not actively playing The Sims 4 at the moment, just to avoid missing out on something you might like that is freely available.

I appreciate a creator finally giving Maxis kit value for items on the Marketplace (although I refuse to purchase moola out of principal).

Completely agree. There are some things I might buy if I could use real money, but I’m never buying Moola. Ever!
I do like the free stuff, although why the added layer on the bikini? It looks ridiculous when they swim with those, same with some of the maxis stuff.

I agree. The paid set looks really nice and the amount of items is similar to official kits. If this had been a kit, I would be tempted but not going to use moola to buy something.
The free swimwear looks nice.

Exact same. At least this set has the same number of items as a kit, which is better — I still don’t want to support the marketplace & the fact that the makers are only paid 30% though.

EA is a slimy salesman that’s working the block to get the gamer back in..
It’s definitely refreshing to FINALLY see a maker pack that’s priced the same as a kit but actually comes with MORE items than the average creator kit! Because some of these other makers had some nerve to price their stuff at 500 moola and have like 8 items LMFAO
I saw on Patreon simpancakes announce they joined the marketplace. So gross. I unsubbed to them.
it’s so annoying! couldn’t use my computer now because it’s too hot! It would melt if I would start something so big like the Sims.

it’s available for 4 weeks, so what’s the problem?
I claimed the free stuff. Latest kit is different, indeed – by number of provided items at least. They also look nice but some items seem very similar to other existing items in the game (via kits, mostly). So no, I am not buying and don’t plan to buy anything from marketplace. It feels like EA is testing these days – what if we provide free stuff, will they go on a shopping spree? No, thank you very much.
